COMEDK UGET 2014 Counselling Instruction

COMEDK UGET 2014 Counselling will start on 7th July 2014 and conclude on 16th July 2014. The Counselling will be held through a centralized single window consisting of two rounds. Through the Counselling Process of COMEDK UGET 2014, seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates based on their ranks. The candidates can refer to the COMEDK UGET cut off ranks of 2013-2014 from the tab indicated below to assess their chances of admissions.

COUNSELING VENUE: NMKRV Mangala Mantapa, 3rd Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore.

Instructions for COMEDK UGET 2014 Counselling

  1. The candidates are advised to refer to the cut-off ranks of 2013-2014 that is hosted in the COMEDK website and make an assessment to their chances while attending the counselling.

  2. COMEDK counselling provide opportunity to the candidates to continue with the seat selected by the candidates or to change their seat depending on the circumstances..

  3. Candidate must be physically present for the COMEDK UGET 2014 Counselling

  4. Candidates who have passed in the recent supplementary 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary examination 2014 may appear for 2nd round counselling only for admission subjected to fulfilment of eligibility conditions and after producing the relevant certificates in original. Candidates have to carry all the Original documents with one set of attested photo copies

  5. Prescribed Tuition fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn on Nationalized Bank with TAT number indicated thereon and payable to COMEDK at Bangalore must be submitted; if the TAT number is not mentioned, the Demand Draft will not be accepted vide sample copy as mentioned in the counselling process document at Page.No:12.

  6. The candidates are required to get the original documents verified and then register themselves at the counter. Unless the candidate is registered he/she will be unable to participate in the seat selection process as the COMEDK UGET 2014 Counselling system is entirely computerized.

  7. A candidate who has better rank gets the opportunity to select the desired seat

  8. Once a candidate selects the seat , he/she will not be able to change subsequently

  9. The seat Allotment letter has built in security features and hence cannot be duplicated. No Duplicate Allotment letter will be issued to any candidate for any reason. The candidates are advised to be more careful and submit it at the College allotted to them on reporting.

  10. COMEDK UGET 2014 may organize a session called “latecomer session” for such candidates who are latecomers during any session in a day only after the completion of all the sessions for that day. Latecomers are entitled for seat selection amongst the seats available at that point of counselling and further they are not allowed to participate on any subsequent session of the counselling round.

  11. The candidates can surrender the seat in person only at the Counselling venue (this cannot be done through Phone, FAX, E-Mail or Post)

  12. Candidate, who surrenders his/her allotment letter on or before the surrender date fixed, will get fee refunded after the deduction of Rs.5,000/-. For this, candidates are required to bring the COMEDK original allotment letter, Bank receipt for having deposited the tuition fee and Verification card all in original

  13. Surrender of seat by the candidates possessing Allotment Letter is not allowed during or after 2nd round of counselling.

  14. Unfilled, surrendered, forfeited, newly added seats will be offered during the second round.

  15. Candidates who have not attended the 1st round of COMEDK UGET 2014 Counselling, who have attended but not opted for a seat, candidates with Allotment Letters whether reported to college or not are eligible to participate in the 2nd round counselling.

  16. There will be an exclusive round of counseling for candidates belonging to minority category only if the seats reserved for them are available followed by the Hyderabad Karnataka region category
