COMEDK UGET 2017 exam held online on May 14

COMEDK UGET 2017 has been conducted by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) on May 14. The exam was held online around 152 cities across the country from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The exam was conducted for admission into various engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka.

COMEDK UGET 2017 question booklet consisted of 180 objective type questions. The question paper was divided equally among the three subjects, i.e. 60 questions each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. As per the marking scheme in COMEDK UGET exam pattern, 01 mark will be awarded for the correct answer whereas there is no negative marking for incorrect answer.

Candidates who appeared for engineering entrance examination can download the provisional answer key of COMEDK UGET 2017 on May 18. With the help of the answer key, candidates can calculate their estimated scores and analyse their performance in the exam. Candidates can also raise an objection against the answer key until May 22, 2017 by making a payment of Rs. 500 per question in the online mode. Candidates will require logging in with their User Id and password to challenge the answer keys. The final COMEDK UGET answer key 2017 to be released on May 26.

The result of COMEDK UGET 2017 in the form of merit rank will be declared on May 28, 2017. Candidates will be able to check their scores obtained in the exam along with their rank. COMEDK will release the rank card on May 29, 2017, which will display the counselling details and rank. Candidates can check their COMEDK UGET 2017 rank card and result by entering their user Id and password.

Candidates qualifying in COMEDK UGET 2017 will be called for the counselling which will be held offline in the month of June. The counselling will be conducted in single window admission system. COMEDK UGET counselling session includes seat allotment process, document verification, biometric verification, payment of tuition fee and reporting to the allotted college. Through COMEDK UGET, around 143 engineering institutes will offer admission to nearly 29 B.Tech programmes and will fill around 20,000 seats.
