COMEDK UGET 2018 - Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka conducts COMEDK UGET for admission to around 29 UG engineering courses in participating institutes across Karnataka. COMEDK UGET 2018 is scheduled to be held in the online mode on May 13, 2018. The application form of COMEDK UGET 2018 is expected to be available from the second week of February till the third week of April 2018. As per COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria, candidates must have cleared/ appeared 10+2 or any other equivalent examination from an institution recognised by central/state government, with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates from Karnataka) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). As per COMEDK UGET exam pattern 2018, the state level entrance test will be held for total 180 marks covering questions from PCM. The exam duration of COMEDK UGET 2018 is 3 hours. COMEDK UGET 2018 will be conducted in around 150 exam centres across 33 cities in India. COMEDK UGET 2018 application form will be available online from the second week of February 2018. The application fee of Rs. 1200 can be paid online through net banking or credit/debit card. To fill the application form of COMEDK UGET 2018, candidates need to follow the below given steps in order:

COMEDK UGET 2018 will be held in over 150 exam centres across 33 cities of India. Candidates have to choose three exam cities at the time of filling the application form of COMEDK UGET 2018. Exam centres of COMEDK UGET 2018 will be allotted to candidates on the basis of their preference, subject to availability. However, COMEDK reserves the right to allot any other test city than the ones chosen by the applicant. Candidates must be careful while choosing the COMEDK UGET 2018 exam centre as it cannot be changed at any other later stage.
The admit card of COMEDK UGET is also known as online Test Admission Ticket (TAT). COMEDK UGET 2018 admit card will be available online in the first week of May 2018. Admit cards will be issued only to those candidates whose applications have been accepted. Candidates must check all details printed on the admit card and read the instructions printed on it before downloading COMEDK UGET 2018 hall ticket. Students must take the COMEDK admit card 2018 along with them on the day of examination. The COMEDK UGET admit card 2018 will be required even at the time of counselling and hence one must retain it until completion of the admission process.

The syllabus of COMEDK UGET 2018 comprises the subject wise topics prescribed for the test. COMEDK UGET syllabus 2018 is based on the existing 10+2 syllabus. Units from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are covered in the COMEDK UGET 2018 syllabus. Topics such as Magnetism and Matter, Electromagnetic Induction, Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves etc. are included in the Physics syllabus. The Chemistry paper covers topics such as Solutions, Electrochemistry and Nuclear Chemistry among others. The section on Mathematics will contain questions on Calculus, Three-dimensional Geometry, Trigonometry and others. Candidates must go through the syllabus and organise their preparation time accordingly to score better in the exam.
COMEDK UGET 2018 mock test will be available online in the third week of February. The mock test of COMEDK UGET 2018 will help candidates get an overall idea about the computer-based test understand the exam pattern better. It will also familiarise candidates with the type of questions that will be asked in the examination. Candidates must practice mock test of COMEDK UGET 2018 regularly to analyse their preparation level and perform better in the examination.
The provisional answer key of COMEDK UGET 2018 will be published in the third week of May. Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their expected score in the exam. They can also challenge the answer key in case they find any discrepancy in it. The final answer key will be published in the fourth week of May, 2018. Candidates can also submit their clarification regarding the answer key online along with Rs. 500 per clarification. If the clarification sought is upheld, the money will be refunded to them after the completion of the admission process.
The examination authority will declare the result of COMEDK UGET 2018 online in the fourth week of May, 2018. Candidates can check their COMEDK UGET 2018 result and rank list by entering their user ID and password. No hard copy of the scorecard will be issued to the qualified candidates. The examination authority will conduct counselling based on COMEDK UGET 2018 rank list for allotment of around 20,000 B.Tech seats in member institutions of COMEDK.
The COMEDK UGET 2018 cutoff is the minimum score that the candidates have to secure to be eligible for admission in participating institutes of COMEDK UGET 2018. The cutoff of COMEDK UGET 2018 for the 1st and 2nd rounds of seat allotment will be declared in the fourth week of June and third week of July respectively.
The counselling of COMEDK UGET 2018 will be held online in 2 rounds from the second week of June 2018. Candidates who qualify the examination have to register online and enter their choices of colleges and courses. COMEDK UGET counselling is done on the basis of their ranks secured in the examination. Those appearing in the COMEDK 2018 counselling must submit their online rank card and other specified documents for verification.
The result of COMEDK UGET 2018 seat allotment will be published online. The seat allotment of COMEDK UGET 2018 includes a mock allotment after which candidates can change or modify their options if necessary. COMEDK UGET seat allotment 2018 will be done on the basis of preferences of candidates as well as their performance in the examination. After online payment of the fee, a verification entry card will be generated. This card must be produced at the counselling venue during verification of documents.
Around 150 universities and government/ private colleges of Karnataka are included in the list of COMEDK UGET 2018 participating institutes. The participating institutes of COMEDK UGET 2018 offer nearly 20,000 UG engineering seats to candidates.
