COMEDK UGET 2018 -Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will conduct COMEDK UGET 2018 for admission to around 29 UG engineering courses in 150 participating institutes across Karnataka. The state level online entrance examination will be held on May 13, 2018 and the application form is expected to be available in the second week of February. COMEDK UGET 2018 will be conducted at over 150 exam centres across 33 cities across India. While filling the application form of COMEDK UGET 2018, candidates have to choose three exam cities. Exam centres will be allotted to candidates based on their preference, subject to availability. However, COMEDK reserves the right to allot any other test city than the one chosen by the candidate. Applicants are advised to be careful while choosing the exam centre of COMEDK UGET 2018 as it cannot be changed after final submission of application form.
The admit card of COMEDK UGET, also known as online Test Admission Ticket (TAT) will be available online in the first week of May 2018. COMEDK will issue admit cards to candidates whose applications have been accepted. Before downloading COMEDK UGET 2018 hall ticket, candidates must check all the details mentioned in the admit card and read the instructions printed on it carefully. Candidates must take the COMEDK admit card 2018 along with them on the examination day. They will also have to produce the admit card at the time of counselling and retain it until the completion of the admission process.
The exam pattern of COMEDK UGET 2018 defines the question paper format of the entrance test. Details on the test pattern and other related information are given in the table below.

The syllabus of COMEDK UGET 2018 lists out the subject wise topics prescribed for the entrance test. COMEDK UGET 2018 syllabus is based on the existing 10+2 syllabus. Units from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are covered in the syllabus. Topics such as Magnetism and Matter, Electromagnetic Induction, Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves etc. are included in the Physics syllabus. The Chemistry paper covers topics such as Solutions, Electrochemistry and Nuclear Chemistry among others. The section on Mathematics will contain questions on Calculus, Three-dimensional Geometry, Trigonometry and others. Candidates must go through the syllabus and organise their preparation time accordingly to score better in the exam.
COMEDK UGET 2018 mock test will be made available in the third week of February. The mock test of COMEDK UGET 2018 will familiarize the candidates to the computer based test and help them understand the exam pattern better. It will also help candidates get a gist of the type of questions that will be asked in the examination. Candidates must practice mock test of COMEDK UGET 2018 regularly to analyse their preparation level and perform better in the examination.
The provisional answer key of COMEDK UGET 2018 will be published in the third week of May. Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their expected score in the exam. They can also challenge the answer key in case they find any discrepancy in it. The final answer key will be published in the fourth week of May, 2018. Candidates can also submit their clarification regarding the answer key online along with Rs. 500 per clarification. If the clarification sought is upheld, the money will be refunded to them after the completion of the admission process.
The examination authority will declare the result of COMEDK UGET 2018 online in the fourth week of May, 2018. Candidates can check their COMEDK UGET 2018 result and rank list by entering their user ID and password. No hard copy of the score card will be issued to the qualified candidates. The examination authority will conduct counselling based on COMEDK UGET 2018 rank list for allotment of around 20,000 B.Tech seats in member institutions of COMEDK.
The COMEDK UGET 2018 cutoff is the minimum score that the candidates have to secure to be eligible for admission in participating institutes of COMEDK UGET 2018. The cutoff of COMEDK UGET 2018 for the 1st and 2nd rounds of seat allotment will be declared in the fourth week of June and third week of July respectively.
The counselling of COMEDK UGET 2018 will be held online in 2 rounds from the second week of June 2018. Candidates who qualify the examination have to register online and enter their choices of colleges and courses. COMEDK UGET counselling is done on the basis of their ranks secured in the examination. Those appearing in the COMEDK 2018 counselling must submit their online rank card and other specified documents for verification.
The seat allotment result of COMEDK UGET 2018 will be published online. There will be a mock allotment after which candidates will be allowed to change or modify their options if required. COMEDK UGET seat allotment 2018 will be based on the candidates preference and performance in the examination. After payment of online fees, a verification entry card will be generated, which must be produced at the counselling venue during verification of documents.
