CUSAT CAT 2014 Counselling Schedule

CUSAT CAT 2014 Counselling schedule has been announced by the Cochin University for the candidates who have qualified in the CUSAT 2014 Exam. The counselling will commence on 16th June 2014.

The Rank List for B.Tech (Marine Engineering) will be published in the official website on 10th June 2014. Eligible Candidates will be called for counselling in the order of the ranks in the Rank list. The counselling will be conducted for allotting the seats to the students in the undergraduate B.Tech (Marine Engineering) subjected to the marks secured by them in entrance test and fulfilment of other eligibility conditions by them as mentioned in the information brochure.

Note: Candidates who fail to report for registration before 10.00 am on the specified date shall lose their claim for admission.

Important Instructions to the Candidates -

  • Candidates should report for counseling in person either with the Parent/ Guardian at the counseling venue on the scheduled date and time as per the counseling schedule.

  • After reporting, candidates must register themselves for counseling at the counselling venue on the date and time allotted to them.

  • Candidates should make sure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as fixed by the University at the time of counseling/admission

  • After the allotment, candidates will be required to remit the required fees in full on the date of Admission given to them. Partial payment of fees or postponement of date of payment is not allowed

List of Documents required to be produced at the time of counselling –

Candidates must carry the below mentioned list of certificates/documents in original at the time of CUSAT CAT 2014 Counselling -

  1. CAT – 2014 e-Admit Card

  2. Registration Confirmation Page.

  3. S.S.L.C/10th Mark list & pass certificate (CBSE, ICSE etc.).

  4. Class 12th Mark lists / and pass certificate (CBSE, ICSE etc.).

  5. Original documents to prove Academic Qualifications.

  6. Certificate to prove Kerallite Status.

  7. Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended (in English version)

  8. Conduct/Character Certificate from the Institution last attended (in English version)

  9. Four passport size Photographs of the candidate

  10. ‘SEBC’ candidates belonging to the state of Kerala should produce Community Certificate and Annual family Income Certificate (for the financial year 2012-13) issued by the Village Officer concerned for claiming admission under respective “Reservation” category.

  11. KSC/KST candidates belonging to State of Kerala should produce Community certificate issued by the Tahasildar concerned for claiming admission under respective “Reservation” category.

  12. Candidates who claim OEC status for fee concession shall obtain the same endorsed in their community certificate compulsorily by the competent authority.

  13. Candidates seeking admission under physically handicapped (PHC) category should invariably produce a valid Physically Handicapped certificate issued by the District Medical Board of the State to which the candidate belongs.

  14. Candidates seeking admission under sports quota should bring all original certificates of their achievements in the respective sports events and the sports eligibility certificate issued by Kerala State Sports Council.

  15. If any of the above certificates are not in English or Malayalam, Candidates should produce a translated version of the same in English endorsed by a Notary Public.

  16. Two sets of attested copies of all the original certificates/documents mentioned above.
