The JEE Main 2015 Answer Key and the OMR Sheet of the students, who took up the JEE Main 2015 entrance exam in pen-paper mode, were uploaded on the official website on 18 April 2015. All the JEE Main answer keys uploaded were according to the question paper available over the website. The candidates who appeared for the online exam were required to verify their attempted question paper received to them via Email with the question paper of concerned date available on the website.
Certain errors have been noticed in the official JEE Main 2015 Answer Key. Discrepancies have been observed in Set C. As stated by CBSE, Q.No. 22 was correct, but it was found to be incorrect. While Q.No. 51 was found to be correct, when CBSE said otherwise. Also, in Q.No. 53, two correct options were provided and, on the other hand, for Q.No. 57, there were actually 2 correct options whereas CBSE stated that there was only one correct option for this question. For all the incorrect questions, 4 marks will be awarded to the candidates, by CBSE.
For a probability question in the Mathematics section, experts say that a single answer cannot be given but the answer key indicates that there is only one correct answer. Also, there were two right answers in a Physics question, however, according to the answer key, there was only one right answer for the respective question.
Students were provided with the facility to challenge the answer keys and OMR Sheet, till 05:00 PM, on 22 April 2015. For challenging the CBSE JEE Main 2015 Answer Key, candidates were required to submit an online application form and sum of Rs. 1000 (per question). The JEE Main 2015 Result will be declared on 27 April 2015 and All India Ranks will be announced by 07 July 2015.
