GUJCET 2017 conducted in offline mode on May 10GUJCET 2017 was successfully conducted on May 10, 2017, in offline mode. Nearly 1.34 lakh candidates out of which around 66,000 engineering candidates have written the test today in offline mode. The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) was conducted across 34 exam centres in the state of Gujarat. The physics and chemistry exams were held from 10 am to noon and the biology exam was conducted from 1 pm to 2 pm. The mathematics exam was conducted between 3 pm and 4 pm. This is for the first time, the examination authority GSEB conducted Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2017) for all the courses. Earlier candidates were admitted through JEE Main 2017.

According, to the candidates who have appeared in GUJCET 2017 said that the difficulty level of the question paper was moderate. As per the information, many students found the Mock Tests was helpful for attempting the GUJCET 2017. Most of the students who took the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) also said that the physics section was slightly more difficult than the other subjects.

JEE Main 2017 has been made optional for students who wish to take admission on all India quota seats in the universities which insist on JEE Main 2017 scores.

The examination authority, GSEB will release the answer key of GUJCET 2017 after the entrance exam is over. Through the published GUJCET answer key 2017 candidates can match their correct and incorrect answers marked in the GUJCET 2017.

The GUJCET 2017 result will be prepared based on the criteria set by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). To be eligible for admissions, the admission committee, ACPC will consider, 60% weightage would be given to results of class 10+2 examination, while 40% weightage would be given to scores in GUJCET 2017.

The GUJCET 2017 counselling will be based on the Merit List prepared by the admission authority, ACPC. Only those candidates who will be shortlisted for admission in order of their merit ranks will be called for participating in the counselling rounds. The counselling is expected to be held in the month of June and will continue till mid week or last of June. The counselling to be held in online mode in two rounds. The qualified candidates will get admission in around 112 institutes of Gujarat state.
