GUJCET Application Form 2018GUJCET Application Form 2018: Gujrat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the application form of GUJCET 2018 on March 16. GUJCET 2018 application form is available online and candidates can fill and submit it till April 7. Before filling GUJCET application form 2018, aspirants must fulfill the GUJCET 2018 eligibility criteria which require them to clear Class 12 or equivalent examination with 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates). GUJCET application process can be completed in five steps which includes obtaining user id and pin number, registration for GUJCET 2018, filling up of details in the form, uploading of scanned images and submission of duly filled application form. Steps to fill GUJCET 2018 application form

Candidates can fill GUJCET 2018 application form online by following five simple steps given below.

Step 1) Payment of GUJCET 2018 application fee and obtaining user id and pin number

How to fill GUJCET application form 2018?

Candidates can check the step by step procedure to fill GUJCET 2018 application form below:

Step 1) Payment of GUJCET 2018 application fee and obtaining user id and password- Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 300 through demand draft is drawn in favour of "Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar" from any nationalized bank payable at Gandhinagar. Applicants can deposit the DD at any of the official help centres of GUJCET 2018. After making the payment, candidates will be given a user id and 14 digit pin no. along with the information booklet.

Step 2) Online registration for GUJCET 2018- Candidates have to register themselves for GUJCET 2018 using the link to be provided in this article. On clicking, candidates will be directed to the registration page. To register as a new candidate, applicants have to click on “Click here for new registration” button. Upon clicking, a new registration window will open. While registering for GUJCET 2018, candidates have to enter the following details.

  • Course name

  • Name of Candidate

  • GUJCET 2018 user id

  • Application number

  • 14 digit pin no.

  • Captcha code

After submitting all the details given above, online application form window will be displayed on the screen.

Step 3) Filling up of GUJCET application form 2018 - While filling GUJCET 2018 application form, candidates are required to enter the following details.

Personal Details

Candidate’s name, Father’s name/ Guardian’s name, date of birth, gender, caste, PH category, category, nationality, Annual income of family and aadhaar card number

Choice of Courses and Examination City

Course opted for, qualifying examination and choice of 3 examination centres in order of candidate’s preferences

Communication Details

Address, locality, city/ town/ village, state, district, pin code, email address and mobile number

Qualifying examination details

Course/ stream, exam status of class 12 or equivalent, examination board, board code, group, medium, roll number, class 12 school index number, name and code of school, name of centre and code

Choose Password

Candidates have to create a password with at least 6 and atmost 12 alphanumeric characters

For future login, students have to use the same user id, pin and password. So, candidates are advised to note down the password for subsequent login.

Step 4) Uploading of scanned images- In this step, candidates are required to upload their recent passport sized coloured photograph and signature. Specifications for the scanned images are given below:

Step 5) Submission of filled application form of GUJCET 2018 – After entering all the details in application form, candidates are advised to review the details entered in the application form of GUJCET. If any corrections are required, candidates can click on “edit registration details” button. In case of no mistakes, applicants will have to click on “submit registration details” button. After submitting the application form of GUJCET 2018, candidates are required to print the registration page by clicking on “print your details” button. After printing registration details, it is mandatory for candidates to report at the help centre with two copies of registration details page along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents, without which candidate shall not be eligible for further admission process. If found necessary, the officer of help centre will retain all original documents and will give a receipt for the same. After collecting the documents, the officer at the help centre will issue a registration slip with signature and seal to the candidate. On successful completion of registration process, a provisional merit number will be allotted to candidates.

Documents to be attached with registration details page

Candidates will have to submit the self- attested copies of the following documents along with the printout of registration form at the help centre.

  • SSC examination (Class 10) mark sheet

  • HSC examination (Class 12) mark sheet

  • GUJCET mark sheet

  • School leaving certificate or transfer certificate

  • Caste certificate for a candidate belonging to SC/ ST and SEBC, issued by authority empowered by the State Government

  • Non-creamy layer (NCL) certificate of the family

  • Certificate of physical disability in case the candidate is a physically handicapped

  • Certificate of Ex-Servicemen (if any)

  • A copy of certificate of In-Servicemen duly issued by the commanding officer of respective unit in which he/ she is serving

  • A copy of valid income certificate issued by the authority empowered by the State Government

  • Photograph of candidate for other State/ other than Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examination Board

 

About GUJCET 2018

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducts GUJCET for candidates seeking admission to around 68,300 B.Tech seats of around 140 participating institutes in Gujarat. GUJCET 2018 is a pen-paper based test to be held in around 46 exam centres in Gujarat. There are 120 questions from Physics, Chemistry and 60 questions from Mathematics in the entrance examination. The duration of GUJCET 2018 is 3 hours. Candidates will be allotted seats in engineering colleges based on their rank in the merit list.
