How to fill SRMJEEE Application Form 2018: SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination or SRMJEEE 2018 application form has been released on November 1, 2017 by Sri Ramaswami Memorial University (SRM). The last date to fill the SRMJEEE 2018 application form is March 31, 2018. The application process of SRMJEEE 2018 includes multiple stages such as registration, selection of preferences, filling up personal, academic, academic details, uploading of images and documents, payment of application fees. To complete the SRMJEEE application process, candidates have to pay Rs 1,100 as SRMJEEE 2018 application fee through online payment gateway or demand draft. SRMJEEE Application Form 2018 Dates

The application window of SRMJEEE 2018 application form has been made available from November 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018. The exam will be held on April 16 to 30. The table below provides the list of SRMJEEE 2018 important dates regarding the application process.

Requirements for filling up SRMJEEE Application Form 2018

The following items of the candidates must be kept ready before applying for SRMJEEE 2018:

  • Scanned passport sized photograph
  • Scanned signature
  • Marksheet of class X certificate
  • Aadhaar Card (optional)

After all the above mentioned particulars are kept handy, candidates have to follow the following steps for the online application procedure:

Step 1: Registration

There are multiple steps involved in SRMJEEE application procedure, but the first stage of the application form filling is registration. Aspiring candidates must go through the window below to understand the steps involved in registration.

To register, the applicants have to enter the following details:

  • Name
  • Email Id
  • Mobile number
  • Password of your choice
  • State
  • City

After entering the details, click on ‘Register’ button. Candidates will receive a confirmation email on their registered email id for verification.


Note: All communication related to SRMJEEE 2018 will be done on the registered email id and mobile number.

After candidates register for SRMJEEE 2018, they will be sent a link to activate their email address. After verification of their email ids, candidates will be directed to fill the SRMJEEE application form 2018.

Step 2: Fill SRMJEEE application form 2018

Candidates have to click on ‘Apply Now’ to fill the application form online.

Select campus and course Preferences: In this step applicants have to mention the following details:

  • Qualification: Whether candidates have studied 10+2 from India.
  • Campus and course preferences: Select three campuses from the most preferred to the least.
  • Test City preferences: Candidates have to simultaneously select three test centres for SRMJEEE 2018.


In case, you don’t want to proceed ahead with the application form for the moment and want to continue it at some other given point in time, you can opt for the option – ‘Save & Exit’.

Step 3: Enter personal details:

In the third stage, the candidates have to submit their category and personal details.

All personal details that are required to be filled have been mentioned below:

  • Category Details (Resident Indians/Non Resident Indians/Person of Indian Origin/Overseas Citizen of India)
  • First Name of Applicant
  • Middle Name of Applicant
  • Last name of Applicant
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender (Male/Female/Transgender)
  • Nationality (Indian/Other)
  • Are you physically Challenged? (Yes/No)


Candidates can either click on ‘Save & Exit’ or ‘Next’ to continue.

Step 4: Enter parents details

After filling the personal details of applicants, below mentioned details related to parents will be required to be filled by the candidates.

  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Residential Telephone Numbers (both)
  • Mobile Number (both)
  • Occupation (both)
  • Designations (both)
  • Email Address (both)

To continue the application filling process, click on the ‘Next’ button.

Step 5: Address related details

At this stage, applicants will be required to enter details related to their correspondence address and permanent address below:

Correspondence Addresses

  • Address line 1
  • Address line 2
  • Find your location
  • Select if you could not Find Location above (Optional)
  • City name
  • State name
  • Country name
  • Pincode
  • Copy above address (In case of both correspondence and permanent address are similar)

Click on ‘Next’ to continue

Step 6: Fill academic details

After clicking on next button, your computer system will take you to the next level of application form wherein you have to fill in your educational particulars (refer the following).

  • Institute
  • Board
  • Year of passing
  • Marks obtained
  • Aggregate % or grade
  • Registration number

Standard XII

  • Institute
  • Board
  • Register No
  • Status
  • No of Attempt (Appearing/Appeared for the first time OR 1 Attempt/Improvement)

Now, click on “Next” button

Applicants can any time click on “Back” button to view/edit the previous options

Step 7: Uploading photograph & signature

The next step is to upload the applicants’ photograph and signature, for which candidates can read the instruction provided in the window as mentioned below:

Further, candidates will have to upload the following documents with the specified size.

  • Photograph (maximum 200 kb)
  • Signature (maximum 200 kb)
  • Scanned 10th Marksheet (maximum 500 kb)
  • Upload scanned copy of Aadhaar card (maximum 500 kb) (optional)

After uploading the scanned photograph and signature, applicants will have to provide certain details in ‘Declaration’ wherein you have to get verified the following particulars:

  • Applicant’s name
  • Parent name
  • Date
  • After you are done, the step is about fee payment.

Step 8: SRMJEEE 2018 application fee payment

  • Candidates can pay the online application fee of SRMJEEE 2018 online through unique application number
  • The application fee of Rs.1,100 has to paid by the candidates.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee thorough Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Demand Draft.

Candidates applying offline can pay through Demand Draft have to follow the below mentioned steps.

Enter the following details to complete the payment process.

  • Bank name
  • Branch name
  • Amount
  • Demand draft (DD) number
  • DD Date

Send the demand draft along with the printout of the Application Form of SRMJEEE 2018 drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD and send to:

Step 9: Printout of SRMJEEE application form 2018

After the payment process is completed through online mode, candidates will get to see application number and payment transaction ID on the system screen.

Candidates must download the filled in application form of SRMJEEE 2018 and take printout of SRMJEEE application form 2018 and acknowledgement receipt for future references.

The SRMJEEE application form 2018 is now completed.

About SRMJEEE – SRM University will conduct SRMJEEE 2018 across 117 cities in India. Through SRMJEEE candidates will be granted admission to B.Tech/B.Arch courses offered by its four campuses – KTR – Kattankulathur, RMP – Ramapuram, VDP – Vadapalani, NCR – National Capital Region. To appear in the entrance exam candidates have to download the admit card of SRMJEEE 2018 to be made available in the first week of April 2018.
