Step 1) Registration for HPCET 2018 - Aspirants have to click on ‘HPCET application form 2018 released’ to be provided on this page. On the registration page candidates have to enter the following details and create an account:
Upon successful registration, the unique application number will be generated. Applicants must ensure to note down HPCET application number and password for future reference.
Step 2) Filling details in HPCET 2018 application form - Candidates have to log in with their username, application number and password. In the application form of HPCET 2018 applicants have to enter the following details and then click on ‘Save and continue’ button:
Step 3. Uploading scanned images - Candidates have to upload scanned images of their recent passport sized photograph and signature. Specifications prescribed for the scanned images to be uploaded while filling HPCET application form is given below:

HPCET 2018 is a pen and paper-based test conducted for admission to 10 B.Tech courses offered by 18 engineering institutes in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The first 50% seats in the participating institutes will be filled as per candidates’ merit in HPCET 2018. The remaining 50% seats will be allotted to candidates qualifying HPCET 2018. Candidates appearing in HPCET have to attempt a three-hour paper which will have questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Admission to any of the participating institutions is subject to fulfilment of HPCET eligibility criteria.
