IIST Cutoff 2016

Nov. 16, 2015 content.teams

Admissions to the B.Tech and Dual Degree Programmes that are offered at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is done on the basis of the marks secured by candidates in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) that is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) that is conducted by the IITs. IIST offers B.Tech degree programmes in Aerospace Engineering and Avionics and Dual Degree programmes for a duration of five years. As the seats that are available for admissions to all these courses are limited, the admission will be done on the basis of the cutoff that is declared by the Institute.

The IIST Cutoff 2016 will be declared soon after the results of the JEE (Main) Exam 2016 and the JEE (Advanced) Exam 2016 have been published. The cutoff will be made public at the official website of the Institute i.e iist.ac.in. Details of the IIST Cutoff 2016 will also be made available on our website, soon after its official release. To be considered for admissions, however, candidates will have to first meet the minimum marks that have been prescribed for their category. The IIST Cutoff 2016 will be decided thereafter by considering the number of candidates who meet the category-wise prescribed marks and the total number of seats that are available for each course Only candidates who meet the cutoff that is declared by the Institute will be eligible for admissions to their preferred course. For more information regarding the minimum category-wise scores that have been specified for candidates in the JEE (Advanced) Exam and the expected cutoff for admissions to IIST for the upcoming academic year, candidates can scroll below.
