ISM EE 2017 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the ISM EE 2017 has been vividly explained below.

Mode of Examination – The ISM EE 2017 will only be held in Pen and Paper or Offline mode. For marking the answers, an OMR sheet will be allocated to the candidates. In it, the answers are to be marked either with a black or blue pen.

Duration – Candidates will just have 3 hours to write the examination. Under no circumstances, extra time will be provided to the candidates.

The Language of Exam – The ISM EE 2017 Question Paper will only be provided in the English language. Any request for providing the question paper in another language will not be entertained.

The Question in the Exam – As per the ISM EE 2017 Exam Pattern, all the questions in the examination will be Multiple Choice Type. Candidates will have 4 answer options, out of which only one will be the correct answer.

Questions and Marks - In all, candidates will have to solve 60 questions. Out of these 60:

  • 30 MCQs will be of 1 marks
  • 20 MCQs will be of 2 marks
  • 10 MCQs will be of 3 marks

Hence, in all, the examination will be of 100 marks.

Negative Marking – ISM Dhanbad will do the negative marking. For each incorrect answer, 25% of the marks for the respective question will be deducted.

The admission in ISM Dhanbad is also granted through GATE. Hence, it is advised that candidate does check the GATE Exam Pattern as well. Unlike the ISM EE, the examination of GATE is held online. From marking the answers via mouse or virtual calculator to the availability of online calculator, marks GATE a very advanced examination. Whereas, ISM EE still follows the traditional mode. Despite it all, candidates must not take it take it lightly. ISM EE a demands rigorous practice and clarity for each concept.
