JAC Delhi 2017:Joint Admission Counselling (JAC), Delhi has announced the cutoff for rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The results of JAC Delhi 2017 seat allotment was released in the online mode. Candidates were able to check their result by entering JEE Main roll number, password and security pin in the login window. The JAC Delhi 2017 registration commenced from June 12 to 26, 2017. The counselling of JAC Delhi 2017 is based on JEE Main 2017 All India Ranks. All the B.Tech/B.E. aspirants who qualified in JEE Main 2017 AIR Paper 1 were able to apply for JAC Delhi 2017. The candidates who have been allotted seats are admitted in undergraduate engineering programmes at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) for female, Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT). IIIT Delhi offers B.Tech admissions on the basis of total marks secured by the candidate in JEE Main 2017 Paper 1 and also bonus marks are given to the candidate (given to them for their achievements in areas like Olympiads, Culture, Chess, Programming Contest, Sports, Innovation, National Talent Search, etc.). In the counselling procedure, the choices submitted by the candidates were processed centrally and seats are allotted according to the merit based on the locked choices. The JAC 2017 counselling consists of registration, online choice filling and locking of the preferred courses and colleges, seat allotment results, reporting to the institutes and pay the acceptance fees etc. There six rounds of JAC Delhi 2017 Counselling. JAC Delhi 2017 Seat Allotment (B.E./B.Tech.): There are six rounds of JAC Delhi seat allotment including one spot round. All filled choices of all registered candidates are considered for allotment of seats as per All India Merit Rank in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2017 for DTU, IGDTU and NSIT. For IIIT-D, merit criteria. The JAC Delhi seat allotment for B.Arch candidates will be done after the choice filling period gets over, besides other parameters, all candidates who registered for B.Arch. will be considered for allotment of seats as per All India Merit Rank in JEE Main 2017 paper 2 for admission to IGDTUW.

Admission to the participating Universities / Institutes will be based on the All India Rank prepared by CBSE in Paper 1 of JEE (Main) 2017 Examination. For admission to B. Arch., Paper-2 of JEE (Main) 2017Examination will be considered. For IIIT-D, there are bonus marks, which are explained in Annexure A of the Information Brochure.
Candidates belonging to Delhi Region: A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi
Candidates belonging Outside Delhi Region: A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi
Candidates Age limit: For DTU and IIIT-D admission applicants must be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years of age on or before October 01, 2017. Relaxation in minimum age up to one year only with the approval of authority is permissible (such candidates should apply for relaxation only at the time of admission). For NSIT and IGDTUW there is no minimum age requirements.
For admission at DTU, IGDTUW and NSIT in BE & B.Tech courses: The candidates need to have obtained at least 80% aggregate marks of best of five subjects (including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) in the qualifying exam. Candidates must have secured 80% or more marks in Mathematics separately.
For B. Arch. Course at IGDTUW: At least 50% or more aggregate marks in the qualifying exam with having passed Mathematics as a subject in Senior School Certificate Level Examination. Candidates must also qualify in JEE Main 2017 Paper II.
Certain seats in JAC Delhi 2017 are reserved for categories. Candidates can check the JAC Delhi reservation for all the categories by clicking on the link above. The candidates have to apply for JAC Delhi 2017 to avail their seats under the reservation of seats for various institutes and B.Tech courses. The candidate seeking admission under reserved categories has to mandatorily produce the caste/category certificate in his/her name at the time of counselling.
JAC Delhi to release the application form of JAC Delhi 2017 tentatively from June 06, 2017. The registration can be done only in online mode. All the candidates have to complete JAC Delhi 2017 registration to proceed for counselling processes. All the candidates seeking admission to the engineering courses at DTU, IGDTUW, IIIT-D and NSIT are required to pay a non-refundable registration-cum-counselling fee of Rs. 1400/- (+ Bank/BillDesk Transactions Charges).
