JEE Advanced 2015 Expected Cutoff

Offline paper of JEE Main 2015 has been concluded, on 04 April while the online examination is due on 10 and 11 April 2015. It is the biggest engineering entrance examination of the nation. Besides being so, it is also one of the most important eligibility criteria to write JEE Advanced paper (for admission into IITs). Only, 1.5 toppers of Main paper will be allowed to write the Advanced paper. To determine the qualified candidates, cutoff will be released. It will be released by CBSE, on the official website. However, JEE Advanced 2015 Expected Cutoff has already been released, by some private institutes, you may check it from below.


1.5 top candidates of JEE Main will also have to satisfy JEE Advanced 2015 criterion, as below:
1. Candidates should have appeared for class XII/ equivalent in 2014/15, and should have secured a position in top 20 percentiles.
2. Candidates should not be born on or after 1 October 1990.
3. Candidates can take the exam only twice and that too, consecutively.
4. Candidates should not have taken admission, previously, in any IITs or ISM.

JEE Advanced 2015 Expected Cutoff

To summarize, cutoff is the minimum marks required to qualify the exam. However, JEE Advanced 2015 cutoff is the minimum marks required in JEE Main 2015, to be eligible to write the paper. Every year, a new cutoff is determined. It is calculated after the thorough consideration of various factors like number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, previous year cutoff, number of seats etc. Each of these factor is vital for determining it, but, none can effect it individually.

So far, no date has been announced for the release of the cutoff. However, it is expected that will be released along with the scores. As per the notification the score will be released on 27 April 2015 and the All India Rank is due on 7 July 2015.

JEE Advanced 2015 will be held on 24 May 2015. Exam will be held in offline mode. The registration for the exam will start from 2 May 2015. Last date to submit the form is 7 May 2015. Issuance of admit card will begin from 9 May and the result will be announced on 18 June 2015.
