JEE Advanced 2017 CutoffJEE Advanced 2017 Cutoff - The cutoff of JEE Advanced 2017 is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure to qualify the examination. The result of JEE Advanced was declared on June 11, 2017. A total number of 159540 candidates appeared for JEE Advanced out of which 50455 qualified the entrance exam. IIT Madras, the examination conducting authority has now declared JEE Advanced 2017 cutoff. Candidates who have obtained the cutoff of JEE Advanced has been included in the rank list. The minimum qualifying marks in each subject of both paper 1 and paper 2 is 61. The minimum qualifying marks is 183 each in Paper 1 and 2. All the candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying marks as per the category/caste to be eligible for counselling rounds conducted by JoSAA. Candidates must note that JEE Advanced cutoff 2017 for admission is different and it will be published only at the time of counselling in the form of opening and closing rank. The JEE Advanced 2017 cutoff for admission will be provided on this page as when it is made available. Candidates obtaining equal or more than the JEE Advanced cutoff will be qualified for admission to around 11,000 B.Tech/B.E seats offered by the 23 IITs. JEE Advanced 2017 Cutoff for Qualifying

The total mark obtained in Mathematics is the marks awarded for Mathematics in Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total marks obtained in Physics and Chemistry is also calculated in the same way. The aggregate cut off for qualifying JEE Advanced 2017 is calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list.
