Entrance Corner- Did you take any coaching for JEE and if yes from where? Do you think coaching is necessary to crack such exams?
Rachit- In Class XI, I took coaching from I QUEST, Patiala. In class XII, I enrolled in Allen Kota, Chandigarh. Rachit- I attended coaching classes for 5 hours. I also took mock test and practiced sums with my friends. At home, I devoted 6-7 hours in self study.
Entrance Corner- What do you think was the key factor behind your spectacular performance in JEE Advanced 2017?
Rachit- One of the major factors that helped me achieve this rank was the fact that I was very particular about conceptual understanding. The mock test which I took at my institute also helped me a lot.

Rachit- I was preparing for JEE since the last two years, i.e. from class XI. Apart from my Boards exam, my focus was to crack JEE Main and Advanced 2017

Rachit- I am planning to take admission at IIT Bombay in Computer Science
Entrance Corner- Did you use social media platform like Facebook while preparing for the entrance exam?
Rachit- I was not active on any social networking site and I believe its better to take some time off from Facebook and other such sites as it diverts our mind. However, I never stopped playing. I think we should not avoid extra curricular activities during this period. I used to go out and play football and table tennis with my friends.
Entrance Corner- Tell us about your hobbies and interest.
Rachit- I like to play with my friends, I love to talk and hang around with them. I also love to play table tennis. Sometimes I watch movies but mainly I prefer sports.

Rachit- I want to do some research work in Physics.
Entrance Corner- You are now an inspiration to all the future JEE aspirants. So, would you like to convey any message to them?
