- The official website for JEE Advanced 2018 has been launched by the Joint Admission Board (JAB). For the upcoming session, IIT Kanpur has been given the responsibility to conduct JEE Advanced 2018. Also, for the very first time, JEE Advanced will be conducted in computer-based test mode. From this article, candidates can check all the latest updates on JEE Advanced 2018. IIT Kanpur has released a notification stating an increase in the number of students eligible for JEE advanced 2018. The total number of students to be shortlisted for JEE Advanced have been increased by 4000 taking the total number to 2,24,000. Until the academic session 2017-18, the top 2,20,000 students qualifying JEE Main were deemed eligible to appear in JEE Advanced.

April 2018- Registration for JEE Advanced 2018

IIT Kanpur will activate registration window for JEE Advanced in the last week of April 2018. JEE Advanced application form will be available until the first week of May 2018. Eligible candidates have to apply for JEE Advanced 2018 within the given time period.

May 2018- Availability of JEE Advanced admit card

IIT Kanpur will release JEE Advanced admit card for the registered candidates in online mode. Applicants have to download the admit card by logging in with their registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email ID.

May 20, 2018- JEE Advanced to be held in computer-based test mode

JEE Advanced will be administered by IIT Kanpur in computer-based test mode. The examination consists of two compulsory papers- paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and paper 2 will start from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
