JEE Advanced Official Answer Key 2017 - The official answer key of JEE Advanced 2017 for paper 1 and paper 2 has been made available on June 04 by IIT Madras. The answer key consists correct answers to all the questions asked in the entrance examination. Candidates who appeared in JEE Advanced on May 21 can download the answer key and match their responses to calculate the estimated score. If candidates find any discrepancy in the official answer key of JEE Advanced 2017, they can raise an objection and provide feedback on the same in the online mode. The last date to challenge the answer key of JEE Advanced is June 06 until 5:00 pm. The procedure to challenge JEE Advanced answer key is given below:
Note: Candidates must upload the feedback in .pdf file format. For each subject of a paper, only one file must be uploaded.
Candidates must check the question booklet code and download the answer key as per the set received in the exam. To calculate the correct estimated score, candidates must use the marking scheme as defined by IIT Madras for the exam. Candidates must check the section wise marking scheme in the question booklet carefully and allot the marks accordingly. Candidates have to add marks obtained in each subject of paper 1 with the marks of paper 2 to calculate the overall subject wise score. The estimated aggregate mark obtained by candidates in JEE Advanced 2017 will be the sum of the marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The cutoff of JEE Advanced 2017 is the minimum marks that candidates have to obtain to qualify the exam. IIT Madras has already declared the minimum marks for inclusion in the rank list of JEE Advanced. Candidates must note that the qualifying cutoff is different from the cutoff for admission. The 23 IITs will announce the cutoff for admission in the form of opening and closing rank at the time of counselling.
