JEE Main 2014 OMR Answer Sheets Verification

This is to inform to the candidates who have appeared in pen & paper based examination of JEE (Main) 2014 (Paper- I) held on 06th April 2014 that the scanned images of OMR answer sheets of the candidates with their recorded responses will be uploaded on the CBSE's official website i.e. www.cbse.nic.in and JEE Main website www.jeemain.nic.in from 25th April 2014 to 28th April 2014 upto 2.00 PM.

Any candidate, if finds any discrepancy in the the recorded responses from the ones they had marked on the OMR sheet are open to challenge it. The challenge of scanned images of OMR answer sheets will be accepted online only, through the link available on the website of JEE (Main) i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in latest by 2.00 PM on 28th April 2014. The challenges submitted individually in person or by post will not be accepted.

The prescribed fee for per recorded response challenged by the candidate is Rs. 1000/- it will required to be submitted by 28th April 2014 through Credit/Debit Card or e-Challan upto 2.00 PM only.

The fee once paid will not be refunded.

If the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. the recorded response is found to be not same as

marked by the candidate on OMR sheet, the correction will be made and the fee will be refunded thereafter.

In case, any registered candidate does not submit the challenge by the prescribed date and time, it

will be presumed that the candidates conform that his/her recorded response is the same as marked on OMR sheet.

The decision of CBSE on the challenges shall be final & no further communication for the same will be entertained.

For the Candidates who have appeared in the computer based examination of JEE(Main) – 2014 , the question paper and the recorded responses have been already sent on their registered email ids so the board will not accept any challenge from such candidates.

It is advised here that before viewing the OMR Answer sheets, the candidates who have still not submitted their roll numbers of class 12 th /qualifying examination have to submit the same on the JEE(Main) website. And the candidates who have already submitted their roll nos. of class 12 th /qualifying examination may view the same and,if any discrepancy found in any case, they must send scanned copy of their roll nos./mark-sheet of class 12 th /qualifying examination on jeemain@nic.in via email only.
