The Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main 2015, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education will be held in April 2015 in both online and offline modes. The JEE Main Exam is primarily conducted for admissions to engineering courses at the undergraduate level in NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. In order to appear for JEE Main 2015, candidates should fill in the online application forms. Certain states like Gujarat, Odisha, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Maharashtra and Uttarkhand, which were previously conducting their own State Level Entrance Examination, has also joined JEE Main. Therefore, candidates seeking admissions to institutes located across any of these states, will also have to qualify in JEE Main 2015.
JEE Main 2015 will have two papers. The first paper will be for admissions to B.E/B.Tech courses and the second paper will be for admissions to B.Planning/B.Arch Programmes. JEE Main 2015 is also an eligibility test for candidates who wish to attempt JEE Advanced 2015. Applications for JEE Main 2015 can only be filled in through the online mode. Candidates can complete their registration for JEE Main 2015 via the official website. Applicants who are desirous of applying for JEE Main 2015, should however carefully read through the information bulletin to ensure that they fulfill the given eligibilty clauses.
The JEE(Main) Secretariat has also designated JEE Main 2015 Application Facilitation Centres, across various states to help candidates who do not have access to Computers or laptops to fill up the application forms conveniently. No charges will be applicable for candidates' filling up the application forms through the JEE Main 2015 Application Facilitation Centers.
