Approximately, 10 lac aspirants wrote JEE Main 2015 today, on 4 April, in offline mode. The exam started at 9:30 a.m. and continued till 12:30 p.m. In this three hour duration, candidates were expected to solve 90 questions, which were of 4 marks each. Our team has prepared an analysis on the basis of the feedback acquired from various entrants. The highlights of the analysis are given below:
According to the candidates, questions in physics paper were very tricky that required intense comprehension.
“The Physics section was too tough. We were not all prepared for such tricky questions. We prepared as per the questions in previous year but the unexpected mannerism of questions, lured us all” - Anita Sharma (an entrant of JEE Main 2015)
Majority of candidates were satisfied with their performance in Chemistry sections. It was not as tough as the other two sections. Entrants are relying on Chemistry section to qualify the exam. On the other hand, Mathematics sections was also moderate, in difficulty. In it, most of the questions covered the syllabus of NCERT and R.D Sharma. Another entrant who wish to keep their identity undisclosed said:
“The Physics section was definitely tough but I am keeping my hope on the other two sections. Especially, Chemistry which was very easy. I have given JEE Main last year as well and I strongly feel that my chances of qualifying the exam is higher this year.”
