The official answer key of JEE Main 2017 has been released by examination authority Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on April 18. Candidates can download JEE Main 2017 official answer key and OMR sheet till April 22. According to CBSE, official answer key of JEE Main 2017 has been released for all candidates who have appeared in JEE Main exam held in paper based mode April 2 and computer based mode on April 8 and 9, 2017. Along with the JEE main 2017 official answer key, CBSE has also released the JEE Main OMR sheet of candidates who have appeared in the exam in paper based mode. However, question paper and marked responses sheet (OMR) of candidates who have appeared for computer based JEE Main 2017 have already been sent on their registered mail IDs.
The JEE Main 2017 official answer key has been released for all sets of question booklet given to candidates in the entrance test. The examination authority has provided four sets of question booklet - A, B, C and D to the candidates during the exam. Candidates are advised to download the answer key of respective code provided to them in JEE Main 2017.
With the use of JEE Main 2017 answer key, candidates can cross check their marked response in the OMR sheet and calculate their JEE Main score.
As per the officials, candidates can challenge any answer given in the JEE Main 2017 official answer Key of CBSE or the OMR grading of their OMR sheet any day from April 18 to 22, 2017. To challenge any answer of JEE Main 2017 candidates have to pay the fee of Rs. 1000 per response. The fee can be remitted through e- payment gateway like debit/credit card, SBI buddy or paytm.

All complaints regarding JEE Main answer key challenge will be referred to subject expert. A committee of subject expert is to be constituted by the CBSE. The recommendations of the Committees regarding JEE Main answer key discrepancy will be final.
If a challenge filed by candidates is found to be genuine, the fee will be refunded while filing the complaint. Complaints received after the stipulated date and without the requisite fee will not be considered under any circumstances. Complaints received by E-mail/Fax will not be considered.
No further communication or anonymous/incomplete representations will be entertained after the last date and only valid representations received online with the fee, within the time frame, shall only be examined as per the instructions.
The answer key of JEE Main 2017 has been published by various coaching institutes after the completion of entrance test on April 2. Candidates can download JEE Main 2017 answer key from the link given below. As per the marking scheme, for each correct answer candidates get 4 marks and 1 mark is to be deducted for each incorrect response. Based on this candidates can calculate their JEE Main 2017 score out of 360.
Based on the JEE Main cut off score 2017, the examination authority will select top 220000 candidates for appearing in JEE Advanced 2017 scheduled to be held on May 21 for admission to around 11,000 B.Tech seats in 23 IITs. Moreover, JEE Main 2017 cut off score will be the basis for selection of candidates for admission to nearly 24000 seats distributed among 23 IITs,31 NITs, 20 IIITs and18 GFTIs.
