JEE Main 2017 Student Reactions – JEE Main 2017 the most coveted engineering exam of India begins today at around 2200 exam centers across the country. Nearly 12 lakh candidates are appearing in JEE Main 2017 held in paper based mode for Paper I and II on April 2. The JEE Main 2017 computer based mode will be held on April 8 & 9. The examination authority, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the computer based exam without any untoward incidents and also candidates are advised to follow the examination instructions for the fair and smooth conduct of the examination.

Paper - II
Paper was easy
According to many students, the paper was quite easy but the Mathematics section was a bit tough. However, few candidates claimed that the paper was moderate.
Paper - I
The lengthy paper
Sarthak, who appeared in the JEE Main 2017, says that the paper was lengthy and he did not get enough time to complete the Mathematics section.
Physics was fine
According to Bhavya, the Chemistry was tough for him and he found it tricky. But the questions on Physics and Chemistry were fine and he is expecting a score around 250.
Chemistry was easy
Kuldeep Sarma, who appeared for the JEE Main 2017 says that " Appeared for the first time in competitive level examination. It was quiet tough as well a good experience. Maths & Physics part was little bit tough. Chemistry was easy compared to those two."
JEE Main 2017 Paper I - Physics was tricky
It is true that the each candidate will have their own analysis of the paper due to their preparation level. According to Mithun, who appeared for the test for the first time found the Mathematics section easy while the Physics was tough and tricky for him.

The candidates have started to enter the exam hall one by one. Just like the morning, one can clearly hear the good luck and best wishes despite the chaotic traffic on the road.

The candidates are coming out of the gate. There are happy as well as confused faces. According to most of them, the paper was moderate. There were 4 sets of paper, which were Code A, B, C and D. The Chemistry section was the easiest among the other sections. The candidates appearing for JEE Main 2017 Paper 2 have formed the queue and are about to enter the exam hall in a minute.
April 02, 12:30 pm – JEE Main Paper I concludes
The final bell can be heard now. The JEE Main 2017 is finally over. The parents are waiting to get a glimpse of their children coming out of the exam hall. Also, the candidates appearing for JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch) are gathering near the gate of the exam centre. Mixed emotions can be seen in most of their faces as they look for their seats and classrooms in the sheets provided on the notice board.

Another 2 hours to go. Few parents are anxiously waiting outside despite the heat.
April 02, 9:30 am – The exam starts
The gates are now closed. The third bell rings, indicating the start of JEE Main 2017. The candidates are not allowed to carry pens and bags inside the exam hall.

Another bell can be heard. Now the candidates can open the seal of the question booklet and look at the questions.

A bell can be heard. This indicates that the JEE Main papers are being distributed. And we can still see some candidates sprinting to the classrooms. Yes, they are late but not too late.

Kartik says that he is appearing for the first time for JEE Main. His favorite and strong area is Physics and he relied on self-study.
Garima is appearing for the second time for JEE Main. She is quite confident regarding JEE Main. She was preparing for this day for the last one month.
Every face tells a different story, some are confident while some are nervous.

The engineering aspirants along with their family and friends have started gathering in front of the exam venue. Most of the young faces look grim, may be due to the examination pressure, and some do look confident. The candidates are looking for the roll numbers and the allotted classrooms.
