The official cutoff of JEE Main 2017 will be released by the exam conducting body, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) along with the JEE Main 2017 result on April 27, 2017. The cutoff will be published category wise. On the basis of JEE Main 2017 cutoff, CBSE will filter the top 2,20,000 candidates for JEE Advanced 2017, which is scheduled to be held on May 21. Through JEE Advanced 2017, the 23 IITs will grant admission to the qualified candidates and fill around 11,000 undergraduate engineering seats. Moreover, as per the cutoff, the JEE Main 2017 All India Rank (AIR) will be prepared by CBSE, for allocating an approximate number of 24,000 seats in 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 GFTIs.
