Along with the JEE Main OMR sheet JEE Main 2018 answer key of Paper 1 has also been issued online by CBSE. JEE Main answer key for paper 2 is yet to release. Candidates can use the answer key to cross-check their responses marked in the JEE Main OMR sheet and calculate the estimated score. To download JEE Main OMR sheet 2018, candidates have to enter their application number, roll number, date of birth and security pin. Candidates can verify their responses marked in the JEE Main OMR Sheet 2018 with that of the official answer key published by CBSE. If candidates’ are not satisfied with the captured responses then they can challenge it by filling an online application form and paying Rs. 1000 per question through credit/debit card. How to download JEE Main OMR Sheet 2018?

To download OMR sheet of JEE Main 2018, candidates must follow the steps given below:

  • Access the link that provided on this page
  • Enter application number, password and security pin
  • The scanned images of the OMR sheet and the official answer key link will be displayed on the screen
  • Candidates must download and take a printout of the JEE Main OMR Sheet 2018 and the answer key for further references.

How to Challenge OMR Sheet 2018?

In case candidates have any objection regarding the recorded response in the OMR sheet, they can challenge the same by following the steps given below:

  • After logging in with the required credentials through the login window given above, candidates have to click on the 'Challenge recorded response' button
  • Candidates have to enter the question number, recorded answer, claimed answer and then add on the 'Add' button
  • Candidates also have to pay the requisite fee amount to challenge the recorded response

How to calculate JEE Main 2018 scores?

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to calculate the score of JEE Main 2018 by crosschecking the responses marked in the JEE Main OMR sheet 2018 with that of the official answer key of JEE Main 2018

  • The score should be calculated as per the marking scheme set by CBSE for JEE Main 2018.
  • For every correct response candidates must add 4 marks and deduct 1 mark for every incorrect response.
  • For the unanswered questions, candidates do not have to add or deduct any mark.
  • Now, candidates have to multiply the total number of correct answer with and the total number of incorrect answer with 1.
  • To get the final JEE Main score 2018 out of 360, candidates have to subtract the total number of correct answers with that of incorrect ones.

The official answer key of JEE Main will be published by CBSE along with the JEE Main OMR sheet 2018. About JEE Main 2018

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national level B. Tech/B.E. and B.Arch/B.Plan entrance exam of India which is attempted by more than 10 lakh candidates. The entrance test will be held in both offline and online modes in around 248 cities across India and 10 foreign cities. Paper 1 will be held in pen and paper based mode as well as computer-based test mode. While JEE Main paper 2 will be conducted in the offline mode. The total duration allotted for each JEE Main paper is three hours.
