After CBSE declared the JEE Main 2017 results on April 27, the website of the exam conducting body- CBSE, faced multiple glitches, making the examinees switch from official result website to other education websites.
The result of JEE Main 2017 was scheduled to be declared on April 27. But immediately after putting up the result window on its website, the officials removed the result window citing some technical error. According to the official sources, high traffic on the official website might be one of the reason for the technical failure of the official JEE Main Result website.
The officials, however, assured an early resolution to the technical issue that cropped up after declaring the results.
The JEE Main result is to be declared for around 11, 98,989 candidates who appeared in the exam. Among the total candidates, 10, 15349 appeared in pen and paper based mode held on April 2 and remaining 1, 83,640 candidates took the exam in online mode held on April 8 and 9, 2017.
The cut off score is the lowest possible marks that candidates must secure to qualify JEE Main 2017. The examination authority Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases the JEE Main 2017 cut off on April 27 along with declaration of result and rank list. The JEE Main cut off score varies each year because it depends on factors like number of candidates appeared, seat available and difficulty level of examination.
As per the latest notification of Joint Admission Board (JAB), it is being expected that the pattern of JEE Main may have some significant changes from the session 2017.
