JEECE 2018JEECE 2018: Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination or JEECE 2018 is a state level entrance examination conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) for admission to B.Tech courses in around 16 engineering colleges in Jharkhand. JEECE 2018 is expected to be held offline in the third week of May and online application form for the same is likely to be available from the first week of April 2018. Before applying for JEECE 2018, aspirants must fulfill JEECE eligibility criteria 2018 which requires them to have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examination with 45% aggregate (40% in case of reserved category candidates). As per JEECE exam pattern 2018, candidates appearing in JEECE 2018 have to attempt 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. JEECE 2018 will be held in two sessions and the total duration of the entrance test is 3 hours and there is a negative marking of ¼ marks. JEECE Eligibility Criteria 2018

Candidates aspiring to appear in JEECE 2018 must fulfill the eligibility criteria defined by JCECEB. Candidates can check the JEECE eligibility criteria 2018 given below.

Nationality – Candidate must be a citizen of India and local/ permanent resident of Jharkhand.

Academic qualification – Candidates are required to fulfill the following JEECE eligibility criteria 2018 as mandated by AICTE to be eligible for admission:

  • Candidates who have passed/ appearing for I.S.C / 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry subject are eligible to appear for JEECE 2018
  • Candidates applying for B.Tech (Dairy Technology) must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in Class 12 examination
  • Candidates must have scored at least 45% aggregate (40% in case of reserved category candidates) in the above subjects taken together
  • Candidates opting for B.Tech (Dairy Technology) must have secured at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together

JEECE Application Form 2018

The application form of JEECE 2018 is likely to be available online from the first week of April. To fill JEECE application form 2018, candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps in order:

Step 1) JEECE 2018 Registration – Enter name, date of birth, father’s name, gender, category, email id and mobile number

Step 2) Filling up of JEECE Application Form 2018 – Enter personal details, educational details, communication details, reservation details (if any) and exam city preferences

Step 3) Uploading of scanned images – Scanned photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression

Step 4) Payment of JEECE application fees – Application fee can be paid online through Credit/ Debit card/ net banking and offline through e-challan

Step 5) Printing the application form of JEECE 2018 – Download the confirmation page. Candidates need not send the confirmation page to the examination authority. However, the registration number mentioned on it must be secured properly for future references.

JEECE Syllabus 2018

The syllabus of JEECE 2018 will be based on the syllabus prescribed by CBSE for class XI and XII board examination. JEECE 2018 syllabus covers three subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. In Physics, questions are from Kinematics, Gravitation, Laws of Motion etc. Questions are asked from Solid State, Electrochemistry, Equillibrium etc. in Chemistry. In Mathematics, questions are based on Trigonometry, Relations, Functions etc. and in Biology, there are questions from Animal Kingdom, Plant Kingdom, Reproduction etc.


JEECE Sample Papers 2018

Candidates must practice questions from the sample papers of JEECE 2018 to get an overview of the questions they can expect in the examination. JEECE Admit Card 2018

The admit card of JEECE 2018 is likely to be available online in the second week of May. Candidates who have registered for the entrance exam will be able to download JEECE admit card 2018 by entering their application number and password. The admit card bears the candidate’s name, roll no, father’s name, category, subject group, photograph, date of birth, name and address of the exam centre along with exam day guidelines. Before downloading the JEECE admit card 2018, candidates must make sure that the information displayed on it are correct. In case of any discrepancy, candidate must report it to the examination authorities.


JEECE Answer Key 2018

JCECEB will release the answer key of JEECE 2018 after the conclusion of the entrance test. JEECE 2018 answer key is likely to be available online in the third week of May. With the help of JEECE answer key 2018, candidates will be able to calculate their probable score that they have secured in the entrance examination. Candidates can compare their recorded responses with the correct answers as per JEECE 2018 answer key. Candidates can also challenge the answers given in the answer key.


JEECE Result 2018

JEECE result 2018 is likely to be declared online in the fourth week of May. To check JEECE result candidates have to log in on the result portal using their JEECE roll number. Along with the JEECE result 2018, candidate’s OMR sheets will also be available for download. On the basis of JEECE 2018 result, candidates will be shortlisted for counselling and seat allotment.


JEECE Cutoff 2018

JEECE cutoff is the minimum marks that candidates have to obtain in the entrance exam. JCECEB will announce JEECE cutoff off 2018 and it will depend on multiple factors such as number of applicants appearing in the exam, seat intake, difficulty level of the entrance test etc. Only those candidates whose marks in the entrance test will be equal to or more than the declared JEECE cutoff will be shortlisted for counselling and seat allotment.


JEECE Counselling and Seat allotment 2018

The counselling of JEECE 2018 is likely to commence from the first week of June. JEECE 2018 counselling will be held in online mode. Based on candidate’s rank in the merit list they will be called for JEECE counselling. JEECE counselling 2018 will be conducted in two rounds. Any vacant seats left after Round I of JEECE 2018 couselling will be filled in Round II of counselling. On the day of counselling, candidates are required to bring all necessary documents. JEECE seat allotment 2018 will be made only after verification of documents.


JEECE Participating Institutes 2018

The participating institutes of JEECE 2018 provides names of various undergraduate engineering colleges which grant admission to candidates on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination. Based on JEECE result 2018, candidates will be alloted admission to around 16 undergraduate engineering colleges across Jharkhand.
