JNTU Hyderabad conducted TS EAMCET 2017 on May 12TS EAMCET 2017 has been conducted by JNTU, Hyderabad in offline mode on May 12 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The TS EAMCET 2017 entrance exam was held in 400 centres across the state, from which 10 centres were in Tirupati, 29 in Vijayawada, and eight in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad centre was divided into six zonal centres comprising 84 test centres across the state. Nearly 2,20,248 students appeared for the entrance test, out of which 1,41,054 students appeared for B.Tech courses.

TS EAMCET 2017 question booklet consisted of 160 objective type questions. The question paper was divided into three subjects containing 80 questions from Mathematics, 40 questions each from Physics and Chemistry. As per the marking scheme, 01 marks will be awarded for the correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answer. 3 hours were given to complete TS EAMCET question paper.

Candidates who appeared for engineering entrance examination can download TS EAMCET answer keys 2017 to be made available by various coaching institutes after few hours. The examination authority, JNTUH will release the answer key as provisional answer keys later on that can be challenged by the candidates if candidates find any discrepancies in them. The final TS EAMCET answer keys 2017 to be released prior to the released provisional answer key. Through TS EAMCET answer key, candidates can calculate their estimated scores and analyse their performance in the exam.

The result of TS EAMCET 2017 will be declared on May 22, 2017. Along with the declaration of the result, score cards of the candidates will also be released in online mode. Candidates can download their TS EAMCET rank card after the declaration of the result. Ranks obtained by the candidates in TS EAMCET 2017 will be valid for admission to the B.Tech courses in the academic year 2017-2018.

For admission to around 450 undergraduate engineering institutes/colleges, the aspirants have to secure more than or equal to 25% as the qualifying percentage for including in the TS EAMCET rank list. However, candidates belonging to ST and SC categories, there is no prescribed TS EAMCET cutoff marks given.

TS EAMCET counselling sessions will be announced by Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The list of institutions for allotment of seats to the candidates along with intake in each course and category will also be announced by the authority. As per the reservation criteria through TS EAMCET 2017 would be released in the information booklet for TS EAMCET Counselling.
