The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released a notice, announcing that the exam dates for KCET 2015 has been postponed. Earlier the examination was due on 29 and 30 April, while, the Kannada Language Test was due on 1 May 2015. However, now the exams will be held on 12 and 13 May 2015.
The decision has been take in respect to the national strike, on 30 April 2015, called by KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transportation Corporation) staff. The strike is being held against the Road Safety Bill. It will begin on 29 April, mid-night, and will end at the mid-night of 30 April 2015.
To announce the changed KCET 2015 exam dates, KEA released a press note on the official website. It is a very wise decision and is in favor of the entrants who might have planned to travel through KSRTC buses, on the exam day.
