KCET 2017 Exam Pattern

The sample papers follow the exact pattern of the question paper. Candidates can check the exam pattern listed below in brief:

  • The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will conduct the common entrance test in the offline mode.
  • This year, the common entrance test might be conducted in both English and Kannada language.
  • Candidates have to appear in three papers namely, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics on two different days.
  • Each paper will have objective type multiple choice questions with four options. Out of the given choices, only one will be correct.
  • Each paper will have a total number of 60 questions.
  • The maximum marks in each paper is 60. For every correct response, candidates will be awarded 1 mark. For an incorrect answer, no marks will be deducted.
  • Candidates will be given a duration of 1 hour 20 minutes to complete each paper.
