Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced KCET 2017 result on May 30. The result of KCET 2017 has been announced in online mode only. The candidates who have qualified the entrance test can check the result by entering KCET 2017 application number. The result of KCET 2017 displays the scores obtained by the candidates, rank secured in KCET 2017 etc. The authority has not sent any KCET Result sheets individually to the candidates through post/courier. The candidates are advised to download and preserve the KCET 2017 Result sheets for further admission processes.
KCET 2017 was conducted across 53 exam centres in the state of Karnataka on May 02 and 03. The scores of KCET 2017 are calculated in equal proportion of the marks obtained in Karnataka CET as well as in Class XII or qualifying examination.
To check the Result of KCET 2017 candidates needs to follow the steps below:
The candidates can challenge KCET result 2017 within three days (June 3). The authority will not accept any challenge regarding the KCET 2017 scores/marks. However, candidates can raise objections regarding other details printed on the KCET result. Candidates can challenge in the result sheet - incorrect / changes in the qualifying marks entered by the candidate/version codes of KCET 2017 question booklet etc.
The merit list of KCET 2017 to be prepared based on the rank allotted to the candidates. The rank is prepared based on both KCET 2017 marks and qualifying examination marks. However, if two or more candidate has obtained the same rank then the tie-breaking resolution is considered as prescribed by the authority.
The KCET Cutoff will be prepared by taking into consideration the KCET Result 2017. The qualified candidates need to secure more or equal to the KCET cutoff 2017 score top be eligible to participate in KCET counselling rounds. Candidates who will be called for counselling session in the scheduled dates shall have to report to 13 helpline centres as per the ranks. The counselling of KCET consists of filling & locking options, payment of fees, seat allotment, and reporting to the college. Successful candidates to be admitted in around 47,697 seats offered by around 220 colleges/institutes of Karnataka.
