KVPY 2014 Cutoff is the criteria of minimum marks that will be employed by the authorities to select the deserving candidates for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), a national fellowship program. KVPY is implemented by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and is funded by Department of Science and Technology, Gov. of India to select the highly motivated students to pursue basic science courses and research career in science for the scientific development of the country.
The authorities will announce KVPY 2014 Cutoff marks on the official website after the announcement of KVPY result. In order to be eligible for the next round, the students are supposed to secure marks equal or more than the cut-off marks in the KVPY 2014 Exam which is scheduled to be held on 2nd November, 2014. Based on the performance of the students in the aptitude test and those who will qualify the Cutoff of KVPY 2014 will be called to attend the interview round which will be the final round of selection.
After conduct of the interview, A merit list will be prepared based on the scores of the candidates in the written exam and the interview round in the following way - 75 % of the marks in the Aptitude Test(written exam) + 25 % of the marks in the Interview. The merit list will enlist the names of all those candidates who performed exceedingly well in all the rounds as per the KVPY Selection procedure.
