The state of Madhya Pradesh has scrapped its own Pre Engineering Test (MP PET) and the JEE (Main) system has been adopted for the admission of students into the engineering colleges of the state. As the number of applicants for admission typically exceeds the number of seats that are available for admissions every year, the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board declares a cutoff to identify students who will be the best possible match for the B.Tech programme. The MP B.E 2016 Cutoff will be determined by the exam authorities on the basis of the All India Rank and State Rank of candidates in JEE (Main) 2016. In order to be considered for admissions, candidates will have to meet this cutoff that has been decided by the board. Failing to meet the cutoff will result in disqualification from the MP B.E admission process.
The cutoff of MP B.E 2016 will be made public at the state’s official website that is mponline.gov.in. For the easy reference of candidates, the cutoff will also be updated on our website shortly after its official release. Candidates, who satisfactorily meet the target cutoff that has been decided by the board, will be allowed to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process that will be held subsequently. Scroll below to find out more about the factors that will be taken into consideration in deciding the MP B.E 2016 Cutoff and why the cutoff scores are important.
