NERIST Entrance Exam

NEE 2018 - North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology conducts NERIST Entrance Examination for Certificate Course, Diploma Module & Degree Module Courses in Technology streams and also Degree Module courses in Forestry. NEE 2018 comprises three different papers known as NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III for admission into Base module, Diploma module, Degree module respectively. The application form of NEE 2018 is available online from January 11 to March 12. NEE eligibility criteria differ for each paper. Before applying for the entrance examination candidates must ensure that they are eligible to appear for it. NEE admit card will be issued online to all registered candidates from March 24. NEE I will be conducted on April 22 while NEE-II and III will be held on April 21 in 13 cities across 8 north-eastern states of India. As per NEE exam pattern, all papers will have objective type questions. On the basis of candidates’ performance in NEE 2018, NERIST will fill over 1359 seats. NEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

The eligibility criteria of NEE 2018 provide details about the norms that candidates need to meet for appearing in the entrance examination. NEE eligibility criteria differ for NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III. Check NEE eligibility criteria 2018 below in the table:

(born on or after August 1, 1992) and 28 years for ST/SC/PD
(born on or after August 1, 1990).

Applicants must have passed 10+2(PCM)/ Higher Secondary (PCM)
with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).

NEE III

The upper age limit as on July 31, 2018, is 40 years for the students of
the general category (born on

or after August 1, 1978), 43 years for OBC and female applicants
(born on or after August 1, 1975) and 45 years for ST/SC/PD
(born on or after August 1, 1973).

Applicants must have passed the 3-year Diploma course from
any Government recognized polytechnic/institution in the respective or
allied discipline/branch with a minimum of 60% marks


NEE Application Form 2018

NERIST has released NEE application form 2018 online. The cost of the application form is Rs. 750 (Rs. 400 for SC/ST/PD candidates). The steps involved for NEE 2018 application form is given below:

NEE Exam Centres 2018

NERIST entrance examination is to be held in 13 cities of 8 North Eastern states. Candidates have to select two cities as per the preference at the time of filling the application form. While making the choice of the exam cities candidates must be careful as request for change in the allotted NEE exam centre will not be entertained any circumstances. NEE Admit Card 2018

The admit card of NEE 2018 will be available for download for registered candidates in the fourth week of March. Candidates can download it through their registration number or they can directly login with their user ID and password. Applicants will also receive SMS and email on their registered mobile number and email ID. The name of the exam centre and address will be mentioned on the admit card of NEE. Test takers must carry NEE 2018 admit card along with them to the exam centre on the exam day.


NEE Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern of NEE 2018 is set by NERIST. All the papers i.e. NEE-I, NEE-II, NEE-III will be a pen and paper test and it will consist multiple choice questions. NEE Sample Papers 2018

The sample papers of NEE 2018 is set for candidates to practice for the entrance examination. Students preparing for NEE 2018 must solve questions from sample papers to prepare more effectively for the entrance examination. NEE 2018 sample papers will familiarize candidates with the questions they can expect in the examination. It will also help candidates to know about their preparation level and they can accordingly work on their shortcomings. Therefore, aspirants are advised to practice NEE sample papers after they have covered the prescribed syllabus.


NEE Answer Key 2018

The answer key of NEE will consist correct answers to all the questions asked in the entrance examination. With the help of NEE answer key test takers can cross-check their responses and calculate the probable score. NERIST doesn't usually publish the answer key of NEE. In case, NEE answer key is released it will be uploaded here.


NEE Result 2018

The result of NEE 2018 will be declared on May 14, online. NEE result will be published in Pdf file format and it will consist the list of all the qualified candidates. Only those students whose name will be mentioned on NEE 2018 result will be able called for the counselling and seat allotment process.


NEE Cutoff 2018

NEE 2018 cutoff is the minimum marks set by NERIST for qualifying the entrance examination. Based on the cutoff of NEE 2018 students will be shortlisted for admission to the university.


NEE Counselling 2018

NEE 2018 counselling will start in the second week of July. The names of all the shortlisted, as well as waitlisted candidates for admission, will be published online. Candidates have to report to the university in person to participate in NEE counselling. At the time of NEE 2018 counselling candidates have to submit attested copies all the relevant original certificates/documents.
