NPCIL Recruitment through GATE 2018: Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited or NPCIL has released notification on NPCIL recruitment through GATE. NPCIL will consider GATE 2018 and 2017 scores for recruitment of Executive Trainees (ET-2018) in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Chemical/ Electronics & Communication /Civil Engineering disciplines. NPCIL comes under the Maharatna category. Candidates who have applied for GATE 2018 can also fill NPCIL recruitment form but only those candidates who have required cut off score will be allowed to participate in selection process. NPCIL recruitment through GATE to be done based on the candidates score in GATE 2018 and 2017 and their performance in personal interview. The application process of NPCIL Recruitment through GATE 2018 is expected to begin from March 27, 2018 onwards, ten days after the announcement of GATE result. The NPCIL 2018 recruitment application form can be filled in the online mode only. The application form of NPCIL through GATE 2018 can be filled till June 2018. While filling the application for NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018, male candidates belonging to general and OBC categories have to pay the application fee of Rs 500. Women, SC/ST/ PwD candidates, dependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA) are exempted from payment of application fee. GATE score - Applicants must have a valid GATE 2018/2017 score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
Pass Percentage: Candidates have to pass their qualifying exam (B.E/B.Tech ) with 60%. Candidates must note that exact percentage of the marks should be mentioned in the application form and no rounding off of marks should be done e.g. 59.99% should not be rounded off to 60%.
Final year students: Candidates who are in the final year of their B.E/B.Tech is also eligible to apply provided they furnish proof of their eligibility and final marks sheet by November 30, 2018.

Candidates who want to apply for NPCIL recruitment through GATe have to complete two main stages as given below:
GATE Application Form 2018: The application form of GATE 2018 has been made available by IIT Guwahati on August 31. Candidates can fill and submit their applications through GOAPS till October 9, 2017. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2018 will be conducted across 199 cities in India and 6 cities abroad on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018. Candidates who want apply for NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018 have to fill GATE application.
NPCIL Recruitment Form 2018: The application form of NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018 will available online and the applicants will be able to fill and submit the application form from the link given on this page. Eligible applicants may apply through online registration system of NPCIL using GATE 2018 registration number provided on the GATE admit card 2018 issued by IIT Guwahati. Candidates are required to keep the scanned signature and photograph ready for uploading at the time of online registration. The application form of NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018 will not be accepted without the photograph and signature.
The application process of NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018 consists of four steps as explained below.
Step 1: Registration - First, candidates have to register for NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018. During registration, candidates have to enter details such as GATE 2018 registration number mentioned in GATE admit card 2018, discipline, name, date of birth, category, email and mobile number. Once the registration is complete, candidates will receive an activation email on their registered email address provided by them.
Step 2: Activation Link - Candidates must click on the activation link received in the email to fill NPCIL recruitment form 2018
Step 3: Filling NPCIL recruitment form 2018 - Upon successful activation, applicants will have to login using their login id and password to fill the online application form of NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018. Candidates have to enter the following details:

After entering all the details, click on save and next, the preview of the application form will pop up on the screen. Applicants should check all the details entered by them in the application form, as no changes will be allowed in the application form after submission.
Step 4: NPCIL recruitment form 2018: Application fees – The application fees of NPCIL recruitment 2018 is only applicable for the male candidates of OBC/General category. Only male candidates belonging to General/OBC categories are required to make a non-refundable payment of Rs. 500 towards application fee with the applicable bank charges using State Bank Collect link provided on the website after final submission of the online application.
Only after verification of payment of fee, the online NPCIL 2018 application form can be viewed/printed. The printed application is required to be brought at the time of personal interview.
Shortlisted applicants will be informed through email and SMS about the availability of the interview call letter. Time and date will be mentioned in the interview call letter. Candidates can login through the applicant’s login window and print the same. Applicants must carry ‘Interview Call Letter’ to the interview venue, without which they will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
Initial screening is primarily based on the information provided in the online application form. It is, therefore, strongly advised that all the details should be carefully and correctly entered in online application form.
All the shortlisted applicants have to carry with them the following documents in original at the time of reporting for personal interview:
Training Period Details: All the shortlisted candidates after PI will have to undergo one year orientation training in any of the Nuclear Training Centres of NPCIL located at Tarapur Maharashtra Site, Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, MAPS Kalpakkam (Tamil Nadu), Kaiga Site (Karnataka) and Kudankulam (Tamil Nadu). Trainees who successfully complete one year orientation training will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C and posted at one of the Units/Sites/Offices of NPCIL located at different parts of the country. Increments will be done on the basis of the performance.
Pay Scale Details: The pay scale for NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018 is given below. In addition to emoluments, other things like PF, LTC, medical facility, canteen subsidy, performance incentive, group insurance, gratuity, housing, transport etc will be available as per the posting of candidates.
