As per the latest notification on the official website of OJEE 2014, the authorities have modified the criteria for admission in 1st year of Engineering B. Tech programs. As per the Modified Eligibility Criteria of OJEE 2014, two criteria have been laid down for engineering admissions. Candidates must fulfil any of the two criterions mentioned below:

OJEE 2014 Modified Eligibility Criteria
- First Criteria: Candidates must have passed class 10 + 2 Examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/ Geology/ Statistics . The candidate must also have passed individually in the subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together. There is no maximum age limit for admission into Engineering and Technology courses.
- Second Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 Examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with
- Any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject
- Any other subject
- The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category SC, ST) in the subjects mentioned above taken together
