The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) for admissions for the upcoming academic year will be held under the direction of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee during the month of July 2016 tentatively. The cutoff of the Joint Entrance Examination will be declared close after the results of OJEE 2016 are out. The OJEE 2016 Cutoff will be made public at the official website of OJEE i.e ojee.nic.in soon after it has been released. Clearing the cutoff would mean candidates are eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling.

The number of seats that are available for admissions in the various government and private engineering, medical & management colleges of the state of Odisha are limited. In order to shortlist candidates from among the huge number of applicants who appear for the entrance exam, therefore, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee will use the OJEE Cutoff 2016. The cutoff, therefore, is the sole crucial criteria on the basis of which candidates will be selected for admissions. Consequently, students can view their chances of being offered admissions in the various participant institutes of OJEE, soon after the cutoff has been declared.
