PSU Recruitment through GATE is done in primarily in three stages which includes qualifying GATE, filling up PSU recruitment form and selection for GD and PI rounds as per required PSUs GATE cut off. Candidates who have a good GATE score will be eligible to apply for PSU Recruitment through GATE 2018. The final selection for PSU Recruitment is based on marks obtained in GATE and GD & Interview. Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in India are accepting GATE 2018 scores to recruit graduate engineers. Currently, more than 50 PSUs are accepting GATE scores. Some of the important PSUs that use GATE scores for recruitment include BPCL, GAIL, BHEL, HPCL, ONGC, DRDO, DMRC, NHAI, and IOCL among others. If candidates are seeking for highly paid jobs in PSUs they have to appear in GATE 2018 to be conducted online on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018. The result of GATE 2018 has been released online on March 16. The application form of GATE 2018 was available from August 31 to October 9, 2017, through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). GATE 2018 will be held for 23 papers across 199 cities in India and 6 cities abroad. Candidates have to complete the entrance test within three hours and will include 65 questions with total marks of 100. The admit card of GATE 2018 has been released on January 5, 2018.

PSU Recruitment through GATE was started in 2012 and after that many PSUs announced that GATE score to be mandatory for recruitment of candidates at entry level. In 2017, more than 40 PSUs accepted GATE score for recruitment purposes.

PSU Recruitment through GATE 2018 - Eligibility criteria

Based on the scores obtained in GATE 2018 and number of vacancies in each branch, companies will call an adequate number of candidates for group discussion and personal interview. Based on the performance in GD & PI candidates will be selected for the applied posts.

PSU Recruitment through GATE Application Dates:

Candidates who are willing to participate in PSU Recruitment through GATE should have applied for GATE 2018. The application form for various PSUs have released online. Candidates can check application forms for different PSUs from the table below. Also, candidates have to qualify GATE 2018 by securing cut off score as per their category. Each PSU releases their application form and candidates have to apply as per their choice of jobs in PSUs.
