All these public sector companies recruit Engineer Trainee (ET) based on the GATE scores and their performance in selection process rounds which includes group discussions and personal interview. PSU Recruitment through GATE was started in 2012 and after that many PSUs announced that GATE score to be mandatory for recruitment of candidates at entry level. In 2017, more than 40 PSUs accepted GATE score for recruitment purposes.

PSU Recruitment through GATE 2018 - Eligibility criteria

Candidates must have appeared and qualified GATE 2018 to apply for PSUs. Each PSU will release their own cut off score and candidates who obtain equal to more than the required cut off score can fill the application form of PSU Recruitment through GATE 2018. Based on the number of vacancies in each branch, companies will call an adequate number of candidates for group discussion and personal interview. Based on the performance in GD & PI candidates will be selected for the applied posts.

  • Appeared and qualified Gate 2018
  • Secured cut off score for the applied posts as declared by PSUs
  • Must have filled PSU recruitment application form

PSU Recruitment through GATE Application Dates:

Candidates who are willing to participate in PSU Recruitment through GATE must fill the application form of GATE 2018 which was made available on August 31, 2017. The last date to fill the online application form was October 9, 2017 (8 pm). Also, candidates must have qualified GATE 2018 by securing cut off score as per their category. Along with this candidates have to fill the application form of PSU Recruitment through GATE which will begin tentatively from October 2017. Each PSU will release their application form and candidates have to apply as per their choice of jobs in PSUs.

  • Submit the requisite fee
