SAAT 2018 - Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar to conduct SAAT 2018 in the fourth week of April for admission into its 9 undergraduate engineering programmes. The application form of SAAT 2018 will be available online in the first week of January. Before applying for the aptitude test aspirants must go through the eligibility criteria of SAAT to ensure that they are eligible for admission. As per SAAT exam pattern 2018, the admission test will be held in the online mode and it will consist questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The eligibility criteria of SAAT provide details about the minimum academic requirements that candidates need to fulfill for admission in the three campuses of SAAT. As per SAAT eligibility criteria, candidates have to meet the following requirements:
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University reserves seats in all programmes for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), and PwD candidates. While candidates belonging to OBC category are eligible for mark relaxation. SAAT reservation of seats are given in the table below:

The application form of SAAT 2018 will be available online. Candidates who wish to take the admission test have to register for SAAT 2018. Candidates have to submit their email ID, validate the email ID with the code which will be sent to candidates through mail. Candidates must read the instructions carefully before filling details in SAAT 2018 application form. Applicants have to enter their personal details, contact details, course preference, exam centre preference in the application form of SAAT. Candidates are not required to pay any fee during the application process.
SAAT 2018 will be held in 62 centres across 40 cities of India. Candidates have to choose three SAAT exam centres and their respective codes as per their preference at the time of filling the application form. The admit card of SAAT will be issued to only those candidates whose application form are accepted by the university. Candidates can download SAAT admit card 2018 through their registration ID and mobile number. The hall ticket of SAAT will also be sent to candidates through mail. SAAT 2018 admit card will contain candidate’s name, photograph and address of the candidate, address of the test centre and exam schedule. Candidates must be carefully examined and in case of any discrepancy, it must be immediately reported to the Director of Admissions. Along with the printed admit card of SAAT candidates have to take a valid identity proof to the exam centre on the exam day.

The syllabus of SAAT 2018 is prescribed by the university and it lists the chapters and topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that candidates need to study for the exam. Students who wish to appear in SAAT 2018 must cover the entire syllabus and prepare accordingly for the exam.
The sample papers of 2018 are designed for candidates to get an idea of the questions they might expect in the entrance exam. With the help of SAAT sample papers 2018 candidates can revise the topics they studied for the examination and work on their weak areas. Candidates appearing in the test must practice questions from the sample papers to eliminate the chances of making silly mistakes, improve their speed and accuracy level. Solving sample papers will also give candidates a prior experience of the examination. While practising sample papers, candidates must have tried to keep track of the time they are devoting to each question. It will help them to improve their time management skill.
The answer key of SAAT 2018 will consist correct responses to all the questions asked in the test. With the help of SAAT answer key candidates will be able to cross-check their responses and calculate the probable score. As SAAT 2018 is an online exam, the university does not publish SAAT answer key. If the answer key of SAAT is released it will be provided on this page.
The result of SAAT 2018 is likely to be announced in the first week of May. To check SAAT 2018 result candidates have to log in with their application number and roll number. SAAT result will display the subject wise and overall marks obtained by candidates in the admission test.
The university will publish SAAT merit list for candidates who will qualify the entrance exam. The merit list of SAAT will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates who appeared in SAAT 2018. In addition, a separate SAAT merit list will also be published for candidates qualifying under each reserved category. Each qualified candidate will also be given a rank card.
The counselling of SAAT 2018 will begin online in the second week of June. SAAT counselling 2018 will be done on the basis of merit and choice of courses filled by candidates. The counselling of candidates for admission to B.Tech courses through JEE Main will be done separately. The detailed SAAT 2018 counsellling procedure and schedule will be notified by the university after the ranks are published.
The seat allotment of SAAT will be done after the online counselling. During SAAT seat allotment process, candidates have to verify their original documents. Candidates who are unable to produce their documents will not be allotted seats under any circumstances. At the time of online SAAT seat allotment candidates have to pay an initial amount of Rs. 1,000. The balance amount has to be paid at the time of admission at respective institutes in form a demand draft in favour of “Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University”.
