Tripura JEE 2018 - The Tripura Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) for admission to first-year undergraduate engineering programmes. Tripura JEE is expected to be held at ten centres in 5 cities of Tripura in the first week of May 2018. Candidates seeking admission through Tripura JEE have to be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Tripura. The application form of Tripura JEE 2018 is likely to be released in the first week of January. Candidates have to fill details in the form and submit it within the specified date to successfully apply for Tripura JEE. The successfully registered candidates will be sent Tripura JEE Admit Card through post in March. As per Tripura JEE exam pattern, students appearing in the entrance exam have to attempt questions from three subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology. The result for all the candidates will be published online in June. Based on rank secured by candidates in TJEE 2018 the participating institutes will fill an approximate number of 508 seats. Candidates have to fulfill all the requirements stated in Tripura JEE eligibility criteria 2018 to be eligible for the entrance test. Candidates can check TJEE eligibility criteria below:
The application form of Tripura JEE 2018 will be released in the first week of February in online as well as offline mode. Students can obtain Tripura JEE application form 2018 in person from the office of TJEE, by post or from designated colleges. Candidates can also download the application form of Tripura JEE online. The cost of the application fee is Rs. 100 while the examination fee varies category wise. Candidates must ensure that the filled in Tripura JEE 2018 application form reaches the office on or before the last date for submission.
The admit card of Tripura JEE will be dispatched to registered candidates in the third week of March 2018. Tripura JEE admit card will be sent by post to only those applicants who will enclose the printed envelope supplied with application form after writing their postal address and affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5. TJEE admit card will have the name of the exam centre allotted to candidates along with their personal information. Candidates must ensure that they receive the admit card of Tripura JEE 2018 as without it no student will be allowed to sit for the exam.
There are ten exam centres of Tripura JEE where TBJEE will conduct the entrance exam. Tripura JEE exam centres will be located in Agartala, Udaipur, Ambassa, Kailashahar and Dharmanagar. Applicants have to indicate the choice of TJEE exam centre at the time of filling the application form. Request for change in Tripura JEE exam centre allocated by the Board will not be entertained under any circumstances.
The exam pattern of Tripura JEE 2018 is defined by TBJEE. Candidates interested in appearing for the entrance examination must go through TJEE exam pattern 2018. As per Tripura JEE exam pattern, candidates have to attempt multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus of Tripura JEE is prescribed for candidates appearing in the entrance examination. Tripura JEE syllabus 2018 consist topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that candidates need to study for the exam. The topics prescribed in TJEE syllabus for each subject is divided into modules. Each module carries 10 marks. It is important for candidates to have knowledge about the syllabus of Tripura JEE as questions in the exam will be based on it.
Tripura JEE sample papers are designed for candidates to practise for the entrance test. TJEE aspirants must solve sample papers to get familiar with the paper structure and questions that they can expect to be asked in the entrance exam. Regular practice of Tripura JEE 2018 sample papers will make candidates aware of their shortcomings and it will help them to revise the topics they studied. Candidates must solve questions from TJEE sample papers on a regular basis to score well in the test.
The answer key of Tripura JEE 2018 will be released online in the first week of May. Candidates can use TJEE provisional answer key to cross-check their responses and calculate the probable score. In case candidates have any objection regarding the provisional answer key of Tripura JEE 2018 they can send their feedback within the given time period. The challenges on TJEE answer key will be scrutinized by experts after which the final answer key will be released. TBJEE will release the final Tripura JEE answer key 2018 in the third week of May.
TBJEE will announce TJEE result in the first week of June 2018. Candidates can check Tripura JEE result 2018 through their enrollment number. TJEE result 2018 will display the subject wise and overall score obtained by candidates in the entrance exam. The result of Tripura JEE 2018 will also have the merit position secured by candidates.
The merit list of Tripura JEE 2018 will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in Tripura JEE 2018. Tripura JEE merit list will contain the merit position of the candidates who appeared in the entrance examination. Admission to the participating institutes will be done as per the ranks of candidates in TJEE merit list.
Tripura JEE 2018 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to obtain for admission. Selection of candidates for admission to a particular course in a certain institute will be done only if they secure TJEE cutoff. Usually, Tripura JEE does not release any cutoff. In case, any specific college or university declare TJEE 2018 cutoff it will be updated here.
TBJEE will conduct the counselling of Tripura JEE for the qualified and eligible candidates in June 2018. Tripura JEE cousnelling and seat allotment will be done for admission into various undergraduate engineering courses in the participating institutes. It is mandatory for candidates to participate in TJEE counselling in person. TJEE seat allotment will be done completely on the basis of candidates merit provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission.
