TS-EAMCET 2017 likely to be held on May 12, 2017As the reports, the schedule of TS-EAMCET 2017 has been announced on May 12, 2017. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) announced the dates of the entrance examination on Thursday for the admission of the candidates into the undergraduate courses offered by the engineering colleges of Telangana. The entrance examination will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The chairman of JNTU made the announcement in the press conference.

According to the media reports, no other relevant dates apart from the exam dates of the undergraduate engineering entrance test has been announced. For the admission session 2017-18, the TS-EAMCET 2017 for the B.Tech courses will be conducted little early in comparison with the previous year of session 2016-17. last year the exam was held on May 15, whereas, in 2017 the exam will be held on May 12, 2017.

There is a total of 460 colleges in which candidates can be granted admission into B.Tech/B.E. courses offered by the various engineering colleges in the state. A candidate will have to register themselves to appear in the entrance test. The online Application form of TS EAMCET 2017 will be available tentatively from last week of February 2017

In the year 2016, the TS-EAMCET papers were leaked. In spite of the leak of the paper, the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University has been consigned with the holding of the entrance exam again for this year. However, as per enunciated by the officials, they will be planning for an examination without controversies. Last year the exam was held thrice due to leaks.

As per the news, for M.Tech/M.E. admission across the institutions of the state of Telangana, TG PGECET 2017 will be held from May 30, onwards. It will be conducted by Osmania University. However, the GATE qualifiers will not have to appear in the state engineering post graduation entrance test. They will be granted admissions in the state engineering colleges on the basis of their GATE scores.
