UCEED 2018 registration begins; apply till November 10IIT Bombay has released UCEED 2018 application form in the online mode on October 9. To apply for UCEED 2018, students must fill the application form and submit it latest by November 10. UCEED application process includes registration, filling details in the form, uploading of required documents and application fee payment. The application fee for all male candidates is Rs. 2000. However, for female candidates it is Rs. 1000. A late fee of Rs. 500 is applicable to all candidates for registration done from November 11 to 17.

Candidates must check their eligibility status before filling UCEED 2018 application form. As per UCEED eligibility criteria, students must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination in 2017 or appearing in 2018 from any stream namely, Science, Commerce and Humanities/Arts to appear in the entrance test.

Step 2: Fill UCEED application form by entering personal details, exam related details and academic information.
Step 3: Upload photograph, signature and all other necessary documents as per specified dimension

UCEED 2018 is a computer-based test scheduled to be held on January 20. IIT Bombay conducts the entrance test for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme offered in IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur.

In 2017, around 8336 candidates appeared in UCEED to fill approximately 105 B.Design seats. Apart from the UCEED participating institutes mentioned above, last year, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) offered admission to B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Design while the Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar, Assam allotted some seats in their B.Des programme through UCEED. However, only IIIIT D took part in the joint seat allocation process conducted by IIT Bombay.
