Bihar TET 2017: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the result of Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BETET/BTET) on September 21. The result has been declared online and the candidates can check their result through roll no, date of birth and password. As per reports, BSEB has received around 2,35,000 applications as the exam was held after a gap of 5 years in the state on July 23. Bihar TET 2017 consists of two different papers, paper 1 will be for candidates interested to teach class classes I-V and paper II will be for candidates willing to teach class VI-VII. As per BSEB, candidates had secure qualifying marks to be declared TET qualified. All the qualified candidates will be issued a BETET certificate which will be valid for 7 years from the date of issue. BSEB has laid down the eligibility conditions which all the applicants of Bihar TET have to fulfill before they fill the application form. The eligibility criteria of BETET exam states the educational qualification and age limit as required in a candidate. According to the Bihar TET 2017 eligibility criteria, male candidate from the general category should not be more than 35 years and the upper age limit for general female candidates is 38 years. All the applicants will have to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before they process with online registration. The application process of Bihar TET 2017 ended on May 3. The application form of Bihar TET was released online and candidates had to submit their applications online. Any application form submitted through any other mode were not accepted. The correction window to edit details in the application form started on May 5 and the applicants could make corrections till May 8, 2017. BSEB had decided the amount of application fees of BTET 2017 according to paper chosen and the category of candidates. Application forms submitted without the payment of fees have not been accepted. The admit card of BTET was made available by BSEB on their official website by July 16, 2017. Candidates will be able to access their BTET admit card through application number and date of birth. Candidates should remember to take a print out of the admit card and carry it along to the exam centre. As per the standard paper of teacher eligibility test, the written exam of BTET 2017 will be conducted in offline mode and consist of two papers i.e. paper I and paper II. Paper I is for the candidates who are interested to teach class I-V and paper II is for candidates willing to teach class VI-VIII. The question paper of BTET 2017 will have 150 multiple choice questions and the total time duration for the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The result for BTET 2017 exam has been declared by BSEB on September 21, 2017. Candidates have to enter their roll number, date of birth and password to check their result through the link given in rhis page. Candidates who secure 60% and above marks in both paper I and II will be declared qualified and issued the TET eligibility certificate.
BSEB will fix a cutoff score for all the candidates who will be taking the exam on July 23, 2017. In order to be shortlisted for the post of teacher and get a TET eligibility certificate, candidates will have to secure marks as per the cutoff of BTET 2017. The cutoff will be released separately for both papers I and II. BSEB will fix the cutoff scores depending on the requirement and the factors affecting the cutoff scores.
