CAPF 2017:The result of CAPF written exam has been announced on October 18, 2017. The exam was conducted on July 23, 2017. On the basis of CAPF result of written exam candidates have to shortlisted for Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test. CAPF 2017 result has been made available in a PDF file. Qualified candidates have to fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF) online. The DAF will be available from October 25 to November 12 till 6 pm. The date, time and venue for physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test will be informed to candidates by CAPF. In case, candidates does receive call letter for physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test should contact immediately contact CAPF. Candidates qualifying the physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test will be called for Interview/Personality Test to be conducted by UPSC and carries 150 marks. To be declare the final result, a All India Merit List will be prepared based on the candidates score in written exam as well as performance in Interview/ Personality Test. Eligibility Criteria of CAPF 2017 is a set of mandatory conditions to be fulfilled by all the applicants at the time of form filling. All the candidates interested to apply for recruitment process of Central Armed Police Forces 2017 by UPSC are required to fill the application form online only. Applicants will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.200/- to complete their applications.
UPSC has released the complete list of exam centres to conduct the various levels of exam and tests of CAPF 2017. Candidates will have to provide their choice of exam centre while they fill the application form. Exam centres of CAPF will be allotted on first come first serve basis. UPSC has issued the admit card of CAPF (AC) written exam on June 22, 2017 in online mode. All the Candidates who have applied for the recruitment will need a e-admit card to appear for the written examination and other stages of the selection procedure. The examination is scheduled for July 23, 2017. Candidates can download the admit card and read all important details from the link hosted above. Only printed copy of the admit card will be accepted on the day of the examination. Admit card in the physical form will not be sent in any mode.
The written examination comprises of two papers as follows:
General ability and intelligence: The paper will be objective based carrying multiple choice questions. The question paper will be bilingual – English and Hindi. Maximum marks - 250 marks
General studies, essay and comprehension: Here, candidates will have the option of writing the Essay component in English/Hindi, but the medium of precise writing, comprehension and other language skills will be English only. Maximum marks - 200 marks.
Candidates who will appear for the written exam of CAPF 2017 will need the answer key to evaluate their performance before the announcement of result. Answer Key will contain the correct responses to all the questions as asked in the exam. It will candidates to know their standing in the recruitment process. Selection of candidates for CAPF 2017 recruitment shall be done on the basis of the following: written examination, physical and medical standards tests and physical efficiency test (PET) and interview/ personality test. Aspirants should be able to qualify in all these stages, however, admission to them will be purely provisional.
The cutoff is the minimum score for each of the paper to be secured by the candidates for qualifying the exam. The cutoff is decided as per the discretion of the commission; however, certain factors are taken into consideration while deciding the minimum cutoff marks.
UPSC has declared the CAPF result of written exam. Qualified candidates will appear in the next selection round comprising physical and medical standards tests (PST) and physical efficiency test (PET).
