All the candidates who qualified the preliminary examination can apply for the mains. The last date to fill the application of Jammu and Kashmir KAS 2016 is June 28. The application process is strictly online and applications received through any other mode will not be accepted by the commission. The mains of Jammu and Kashmir KAS is scheduled to be conducted on July 17. All the candidates who fill and submit their application form within the stipulated time will be issued the admit card. The tentative date of Jammu and Kashmir KAS 2016 hall ticket is by last week of June 2017. The admit card will be issued online and the link to download the same will be provided on this page. The result of the mains KAS 2016 exam is expected to be declared in August 2017. The result will be declared online in pdf format. All the candidates qualifying in the mains examination will be shortlisted for final appointment at the posts included. Salient Features of the Examination

  • The Exam is conducted in two stages, Preliminary and Mains Exam
  • The Preliminary Examination is meant to serve as a screening test for candidates.
  • The Marks scored in the Preliminary exam will declare which candidates are qualified for the Mains exam.
  • There will be Total of 8 Papers in Jammu and Kashmir KAS, Paper 1 will be for General English, Paper 2 will be for English Essay, Paper 3 for General Studies and Paper V, VI, VII, and VIII for any two additional subjects chosen by the candidates.
  • There will be different marks for different papers. Candidates will have to qualify each paper separately to move to the next level.

Jammu and Kashmir KAS 2016 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates who are interested to apply for J&K KAS should fulfill the following eligibility criteria before applying.

Nationality: Candidates who are permanent of Jammu and Kashmir State are Eligible to Apply.

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 35 years as on 01.01.2016

Educational Qualification: All the candidates who wish to apply must hold a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university in India or from a foreign University declared by government in consultation with the commission to be equivalent to a degree of a recognized university.

Jammu and Kashmir KAS 2016 Examination Application Form

The application process of Jammu and Kashmir KAS 2016 mains exam is underway and the candidates qualified in the preliminary exam will have to fill the online application form. Those who do not submit their application form will not be allowed to sit for the mains exam. The application process of Jammu and Kashmir 2016 mains exam is strictly online and JKPSC will not accept any applications received through post or email. Candidates will also have to prescribed application fee through challan/net banking. Those candidates who do make the payment of fees with the application form will not be allowed to sit for the exam. All the candidates have to pay the application fess to seal their applications. Application forms submitted without the application fees will not be accepted. Candidates can pay the application fees till December 15, 2016. The amount of application fees is provided in a tabular form below.

Jammu and Kashmir KAS 2016 Exam Cities

  • J&K KAS Will be conducted in two stages, the preliminary exam and the mains exam. The Examinations will be held at different centers located Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Jammu, Kargil, Leh, Rajouri and Srinagar Districts.

Jammu and Kashmir KAS Admit Card 2016

JKPSC will release the Jammu and Kashmir KAS admit card for the mains exam by last week of June 2017. All the candidates who apply for the mains exam after qualifying in the prelims will be issued the admit card. The hall ticket of Jammu and Kashmir KAS will be issued online and the commission will not be responsible to send the hall ticket to anyone by email or post. Candidates will be required to provide details such as application number/roll number and date of birth/password to download their hall ticket. The Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination will be conducted in two stages, first is the preliminary examination followed by the mains exam. The Exam patterns for both are as given below.
