NDA Admit CardNDA Admit Card 2018: The admit card of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA & NA) exam has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on March 27. The NDA 2018 admit card has been released online by UPSC whereas the call letter for SSB interview will be made available on the websites of Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. Candidates can download admit card of NDA 1 2018 exam by entering their registration/ roll number and date of birth/password. UPSC has released the NDA admit card 2018 for written exam for only those candidates whose applications have been accepted by the commission. Candidates can check the name of their exam centre and reporting time on NDA hall ticket. Accordingly, candidates must reach the allotted test centre at least an hour before the scheduled time to avoid any last minute rush. Candidates should carry a hard copy of their NDA 2018 admit card to the exam centre. NDA (I) 2018 application form and notification were released by UPSC on January 15. Procedure to download NDA Admit Card 2018?

The admit card has been released online and candidates can check the steps explained below to download NDA 2018 hall ticket. The link to download NDA 2018 admit card has been provided on this page.

  1. Click on the link ‘Downlaod UPSC NDA 1 Admit Card 2018’ provided above.
  2. After reading instructions, take a printout and click on 'Yes' I have printed the instructions
  3. On the next page, enter the registration id/roll number and date of birth/password in the login panel
  4. After entering all the login details correctly and the given captcha code, click on submit
  5. The NDA admit card 2018 will be displayed on the screen
  6. Candidates should cross check all the details mentioned on the admit card. Any error should be immediately brought to the notice of UPSC
  7. Candidates should download their NDA 2018 admit card and take multiple printouts for future reference.


NDA 2018 Admit Card – FAQ’s

Ques: What if I forgot my Registration ID/password?

Ans: If you forget your RID, it can be retrieved by entering Name, Fathers Name, Mothers Name, Date of Birth.

Ques: Can I download my NDA admit card on mobile?

Ans: Candidates are advised to not use mobile or any other gadgets except a desktop to download their admit card. As notified by UPSC, candidates are advised to use latest versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers (with JavaScript option enabled) to download their NDA hall ticket.

Ques: What to do if I have not received my NDA admit card?
Ans: If candidates do not receive the e-admit card or any other communication regarding candidature for the examination one week before the commencement of the examination, they should at once contact the commission. Information can also be obtained from the Facilitation Counter located in the commission’s office either in person or over Phone.

In case no communication is received in the commission’s office from the candidate regarding non-receipt of his e-admit card at least one week before the examination, the candidate will be solely responsible for non-receipt of the e-admit card.

Ques: What details required for reporting any discrepancies?
Ans: All communications to the commission should invariably contain the following particulars.

  1. Name and year of the examination.
  2. Registration ID (RID).
  3. Roll Number (if received).
  4. Name of candidate (in full and in block letters)
  5. Postal Address as given in the application

NDA Admit Card 2018 – General Instructions

  • The admit card of NDA 2018 is released online and UPSC will not send the hall ticket to any candidate via post or email.
  • Candidates should print their NDA admit card 2018 on A4 size paper.
  • Candidates are advised to safe-keep their admit card till the end of the recruitment procedure.
  • UPSC will not issue duplicate admit card to any candidate under any circumstances.
  • Candidates should carry ID proof i.e. Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter I Card along with their admit card and at least 2 recent photographs with them to NDA exam centre. Candidates without valid ID proof and admit card won't be allowed to give exam.
  • Mutilated, torn and soiled admit cards will not be accepted at the centre and candidates holding them will be debarred from sitting in the exam.

NDA 2018 exam day guidelines

Candidates who are scheduled to appear for NDA 2018 exam should check the important exam day guidelines given below.

  • Candidates have to carry the hard copy of their admit card on the day of exam to their centre failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam
  • Candidates are advised to reach their exam centre 1 hour prior to the reporting time mentioned in their NDA admit card and enter the exam hall 20 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall 10 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the examination
  • Candidates should report only to the NDA exam centre mentioned in their hall ticket. Candidates reporting to a different centre will not be allowed to sit for the exam and their candidature is liable to be cancelled
  • Mobile phones, calculators or any of the IT gadgets are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any Infringements of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
  • Candidates are advised not to bring any valuables/costly items to the examination halls, as safe keeping of the same can not be assured. The commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard

UPSC conducts National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) exam twice in a year. NDA / NA 2018 exam is conducted for admission to Army, Air force and Navy wings for the 139th Course and for the 102nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).
