RBI Assistant 2016: Reserve Bank of India has released the mark sheet of the candidates who had appeared in the mains exam of RBI Assistant 2016. The mains exam of RBI Assistant was conducted on January 24, 2017. Candidates can check their marks of RBI Assistant until May 10, 2017. Earlier, RBI had released the cut off and result of RBI Assistant mains exam. RBI Assistant 2016 mains exam was conducted for 200 marks in Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. Candidates who have secured the overall and sectional qualifying marks in the RBI Assistant 2016 mains exam has been declared qualified for the medical exam and document verification.
Aspirants found medically fit will be provided an appointment in the bank. Shortlisted candidates are required to send proforma and other documents to the regional offices of RBI for appearing in the medical exam and document verification. Allotment will be made to the post of Assistant against 610 vacancies in various zonal offices of RBI. RBI has made some changes in the Scheme of RBI Assistant 2016 recruitment. Some of the Key highlights of the RBI Assistant 2016 exam are as follows:

RBI will issue admit card to the candidates shortlisted for interview after the declaration of Mains Result of RBI Assistant 2016. Candidates can download their interview call letter using their Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth. The RBI Assistant Admit Card 2016 for interview will be available only for online downloading. No Admit card will be sent to the candidates by post. The name, date, reporting time, venue of interview will be mentioned in the call letter.
The Mains Result of RBI Assistant has been made available on February 22, 2017. The zone-wise roll number of candidates who have qualified the mains exam has been available in PDF file. Only those candidates who have qualified the mains exam securing the overall and sectional passing marks as per their category has been shortlisted for an appointment.Candidates shortlisted will appear for the medical exam and document verification. Those qualifying the language proficiency test will be given allotment. The scorecard of the RBI Assistant 2016 has been released. Candidates to view their scores will have to login using Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password.
The RBI Assistant Cutoff 2016 of the Mains Exam has been released state-wise and centre-wise. On the basis of the cutoff score, candidates have been declared qualified in the mains exam. The bank has decided the minimum cutoff score for each of the objective tests in the mains exam.
The Selection Procedure of RBI Assistant will comprise of – Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination.Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Examination will be called for the Mains Examination. Shortlisting of candidates will be made on the basis of merit, the number of vacancies and marks obtained by the candidates in mains exam.
RBI Assistant Exam 2016 will be conducted in three stages – Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination.The Preliminary Examination of RBI Assistant 2016 will comprise of three papers – Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability of 100 marks. However, the Mains Examination of RBI Assistant will comprise of 5 papers – Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge of 200 marks. There will be the penalty for wrong answers. The total time duration of Preliminary Examination is 1 hour while the time-duration of the Mains Examination is 2 hours.

The candidates applying for the post of RBI Assistant 2016 should fulfil the following Eligibility criteria:
Age: The candidates applying for the post should be between 20 and 28 years as on 07.11.2016. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 08/11/1988 and not later than 07/11/1996 (both days including) are only eligible to apply. Age relaxation will be provided to the candidates belonging to different categories as per government rule.
Educational Qualification: The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in the aggregate (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) as on 07.11.2016.
Language proficiency: Candidates applying for the post should be proficient in the language of the state or any of the states falling under the recruiting office.
The RBI Assistant Application Process has concluded on November 28, 2016. Only online applications were accepted for the post of RBI Assistant. The online editing facility of the RBI Assistant 2016 Application Form was available until November 28, 2016. The Facility to take print out of the Application Form was valid until December 13, 2016. The Application Fees of RBI Assistant was Rs. 50 (For SC/ST/PWD/EXS) and Rs. 450 (For OBC/General candidates).
RBI Assistant 2016 Exam Cities
The Online Preliminary and Main Examination of RBI Assistant 2016 will be conducted in various centres throughout the country. RBI has released a tentative list of examination centres along with the notification. The bank however, reserves the right to cancel any of the examination both Prelims and Mains exam or add some other centres depending upon the requirements. The Exam Centres for the exam will be allotted as per the choice given by the candidates. In certain cases, the bank might allot centres to the candidates at its discretion. RBI will not entertain any request for change in the exam centres. The Centres for the Mains Examination will be limited.

Note: Aspirants selected for the post of Assistant in RBI will be initially posted in RBI’s Office within the Recruitment Zone for which they had applied.
