RBI Officer Grade B 2017: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared the result of RBI Officer Grade B 2017 Phase 2 on July 13, 2017 in online mode. The exam was held online on July 7, 2017. The RBI Officer Grade B 2017 Phase 2 exam comprised of three papers – Paper I, II & III. Based on RBI Officer Grade B 2017 Phase 2 result, candidates 3 times the number of vacancies have been shortlisted for Interview. Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 35,150/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 35150-1750(9) -50900-EB-1750(2) -54400-2000(4) -62400 applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 67,933/- (approx.).
Candidates selected from separate recruitments for the post of Officer in Gr. B (DR) for General, DEPR, DSIM streams will join the Common Seniority Group and the seniority among these Officers will be fixed according to the ranking worked out by using the standard percentile score of aggregate marks of selected candidates.
The admit card of RBI Officer Grade B Interview will be released 10 to 15 days prior the commencement of exam. The RBI Officer Grade B Interview call letter will mention the date, time and venue of exam. Candidates should download the admit card online by entering roll number/registration number and password/date of birth. Candidates while appearing for the exam need to carry documents in support of eligibility, caste certificates, academic certificates, passport sized of photographs, print of application form etc.
The result of RBI Officer Grade B Phase 2 exam has been declared on July 13. The result has been declared for those candidates who had secured sectional and overall qualifying marks in Phase 2 exam. Only such candidates will be allowed to appear for Interview. RBI Officer Grade B Application Form 2017 concluded on May 23, 2017. Applications were accepted online only. The applications of candidates who fulfilled the eligibility conditions were accepted by the examination authority.The Application Fee for General and OBC Category candidates was Rs 850/-. However, for SC/ST/PWD category candidates the application fees was Rs Rs 100/-.
RBI conducted the Phase-I online exam in 156 exam cities spread throughout the country. However, the phase-II exam will be conducted across 10 exam cities. Candidates were allowed to select only one centre for the Phase-I and II examination in the online application. Centre and dates of Examinations are liable to be changed at the Board's discretion. In the event of cancellation of Examinations at any centre, the Board may at its discretion allot an alternative centre to the candidates concerned. The name, address, timings of the exam will be indicated in the admission certificate of RBI Officer Grade B Phase 2.
The exam of RBI Officer Grade B will be held in two phases - Phase- I and Phase- II followed by interview. Phase - I will be an objective type paper and phase-II will be partically objective and subjective. The Phase-I will be conducted for 200 marks. The Paper will consists tests of (i) General Awareness (ii) English Language (iii) Quantitative Aptitude and (iv) Reasoning, with composite time of 120 minutes. The Phase-II exam will be conducted for only those candidates who will qualify the Phase-II exam. Phase-II will have three papers: Economic and Social Issues (Objective Type), English (Writing Skills) (descriptive type) and Finance and Management/ Economics/ Statistics (Objective Type). The Phase-III will be conducted for 300 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III). Final Selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidates in Phase-II and interview.
