The SBI Clerk 2017 result will be declared for all the candidates who will appear in the exam. Candidates to qualify each stage of recruitment process will have to secure the overall and sectional qualifying marks in the exam. Aspirants can download the result of SBI Clerk through registration no/roll number and date of birth. The preliminary examination of SBI Clerk will be conducted for 100 marks in three subjects – english language, numerical ability and reasoning ability. The passing marks in each test will be decided by SBI on the basis of the performance of all the candidates taken together. As per the SBI Clerk result 2017, final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the mains exam. SBI Clerk Result 2017 (Preliminary Exam)

  • SBI Clerk 2017 result of preliminary exam will be declared only for those candidates who will score the qualifying marks in the online Preliminary Examination.
  • Candidates will have to qualify in all the three sections of Preliminary Examination – English Language, Numerical and Reasoning Ability.
  • Only those candidates who will qualify the SBI Clerk 2017 Preliminary Examination will be allowed to appear in the Mains Examination.
  • Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination will not be added the final merit list.
  • The prelims exam will be conducted for 100 marks.
  • Candidates 20 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the mains exam. For eg: 400000 candidates will be selected for the mains exam if the vacancy is 20,000.

SBI Clerk Result 2017 (Mains Examination)

  • Candidates scoring passing marks in the online Mains Examination will be declared qualified.
  • The Mains Examination will comprise of General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude. Candidates will have to pass in all the sections. 
  • Weight age will be given to the marks of the Mains Examination since SBI has dispensed off with the process of Interview. 
  • Candidates are also required to score a minimum percentage of marks in aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available). Minimum percentage marks in aggregate will be decided by the bank on the number of candidates appeared in the exam and difficulty level of questions.
  • The passing marks in each of the tests will be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level.
  • Candidates qualifying the Main Examination will be placed according to their marks in descending order in respective categories.
  • The mains exam will be conducted for total 200 marks.

SBI Clerk Result 2017 – Merit list

The SBI Clerk 2017 final merit or allotment list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Mains Examination. Candidates will be shortlisted for final selection on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Mains Examination. Final Allotment will be made from the top ranked candidates in the merit list.

  • The merit list of SBI Clerk 2017 will be prepared based on factors such as Number of Candidates appeared for the exam, level of difficulty, reservation norms, no of posts etc.
  • The candidates will have to score qualifying marks and will have to qualify in each paper to get through the merit list.
  • The marks of the Online Preliminary Exam of SBI Clerk 2017 will not be added for the preparation of final merit list. The candidates will be selected to the post of Junior Associate and Junior Agricultural Associates on the basis of their marks in SBI Clerk Mains Exam.
  • The marks obtained by the candidates in the Mains Examination of SBI Clerk 2017 will be added in the preparation of final Merit List.
  • The qualifying marks of the Mains Exam will be decided by the bank.
  • The candidates apart from securing the aggregate qualifying marks should also secure the sectional qualifying to make their place in the merit list.
