SBI SO 2017 –State Bank of India every year conducts the recruitment for the post of Specialist Officer. The bank for 2016-17 session had released notification for 412 vacancies in Specialist Officer position to the post of Assistant Managers, Developers, Test lead, Tester, Manager, officers, Architects, Engineers, designers, administrators, analysts, innovation specialist and others on regular/ contractual basis. The online examination for the regular positions was conducted successfully on January 20, 2017. SBI is expected to declare the SBI SO 2017 result in month of February, 2017. The bank will also release the category-wise and sectional cutoff score of the online exam along with the result. Candidates on the basis of their marks and cutoff in the online exam will be shortlisted for the interview.
Admit cards will be issued to the candidates shortlisted for the interview few days after the declaration of the result. The bank will declare the final result on the basis of online exam (Professional Knowledge) and interview. The final result of SBI SO 2017 will be declared in May/April, 2017. The officials will also be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund and perquisites. The total compensation per annum would be approximately Rs.11.63 lacs, Rs.15.09 lacs, Rs.18.32 lacs for the grade of JMGS I, MMGS II, MMGS III respectively. For the candidates applying to the contractual posts, the compensation package (CTC) will comprise of fixed and variable components.

Candidates appearing for the exam should ensure that they fulfill the necessary eligibility criteria laid down under SBI SO notification 2016. The candidates should satisfy the eligibility norms as per age, education qualification, Nationality, and experience.
- Nationality: Only Eligible Indian Citizens are eligible to apply for SBI SO 2016.
- Age Limit: The minimum age limit of the candidates appearing for SBI SO should be in between 21 to 30 years depending upon the posts. The maximum age of the candidates should be in between 30-40 years.

SBI SO Exam Cities 2017
The Online Exam of SBI SO 2017 will be held in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna & Thiruvananthapuram centres. However SBI reserves the right to add or delete any centre and allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he or she has opted for. Candidates will have to choose the exam cities as per their preferences while filling up the Application Form.

The SBI SO Admit Card 2017 has been issued for the online examination on January 10, 2017. Candidates can download their Admit Card here on this page. For downloading the Admit Cards, candidates will have to enter Registration No/Roll No and Date of Birth/Password in the Admit Card login window. No hard copy of the Admit Card will be sent to the candidates by post.

The SBI SO 2017 exam will be held online. The components of the SBI SO Exam Pattern 2017 have been explained below:

The result of SBI SO 2017 will be declared in February 2017. Candidates will have to secure the qualifying marks in each section of online exam. Shortlisting of candidates for next level of recruitment process which is interview will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in Professional Knowledge section. The final result will be announced based on the performance in online exam (Professional Knowledge) and interview. SBI will release the marks obtained in the online examination and interview within 7 days from the date of declaration of result. The online exam was conducted for total 200 marks
State Bank of India will fix cutoff score for online examination to delimit candidates for next level of recruitment process i.e Interview. Candidates to qualify the online exam will have to secure the overall and sectional SBI SO Cut off score. However, on the basis of SBI SO Cut off 2017 in the Professional Knowledge section, candidates will be called for interview. The final SBI SO Cut off 2017 will be based on the marks obtained in Professional Knowledge and Interview by the last recommended candidates.
