SSC CGL ResultSSC CGL Result 2017: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to announce the result of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam in October, 2017. Based on SSC CGL result of Tier 1, candidates will be shortlisted for Tier 2. The commission will fix minimum qualifying marks as per category in Tier 1 exam. Only those candidates who will secure qualifying marks shall be selected for Tier 2. The Tier I examination of SC CGL serves as screening the candidates for appearing in Tier 2 exam for various papers. The marks secured by candidates in Tier 2 will be taken into consideration for final merit list and their eligibility for appearing in Computer Proficiency Test/Data Entry Skill test. The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam is scheduled to be conducted in Computer Based Mode from August 1 to 20, 2017. The SSC CGL result 2017 of Tier 2 will be conducted for candidates who have qualified the Tier 1 exam. The SSC CGL Tier 2 result is likely to be declared in January 2018, exam will be held on November 10 and 11, 2017. The commission will decide qualifying marks for each paper of Tier 2 exam as well as in aggregate of all papers for each category. Candidates who will qualify in all the papers as well as in aggregate will be selected for Tier 3 and 4. The marks of SSC CGL Paper III will be considered for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and marks of Paper IV will be considered for Assistant Audit Officer (AAO)/Assistant Accounts Officer(AAO) posts. SSC CGL 2017 Result dates

The SSC CGL result of Tier 1 will be declared in October. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from August 1 to 20, 2017. The SSC CGL result 2017 of Tier 2 will be announced in January 2018 followed by Tier 3 in February 2018. The result of SSC CGL Tier 4 will be declared in March/April 2018. SSC CGL Result 2017 of Tier 1

The result of SSC CGL Tier 1 will be declared in October 2017. The exam of which will be conducted from August 1 to 20. The Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL will comprise of 4 sections – General Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The marks obtained in all the sections will be added to arrive at the total aggregate score out of 200 marks of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam after deducting marks for wrong answers. Based on the score, candidates will be selected for next round of selection process i,e Tier 2 exam. Candidates also have to secure the SSC CGL cutoff score as per category to be shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. The scores obtained by candidates in Tier 1 will be released within 7 days from the date of declaration of SSC CGL result.

SSC CGL Result 2017 of Tier 2

The result of SSC CGL Tier 2 will be declared in January 2018. SSC will conduct the Tier 2 exam on November 10 & 11, 2017. The Tier 2 exam of SSC CGL comprises of four papers – Paper I (Quantitative Abilities), Paper II (English Language & Comprehension), Paper III (Statistics) and Paper IV General Studies (Finance and Economics). Out of which, Paper I and II are compulsory for all candidates. While Paper III and IV are the post of Statistical Investigator and Assistant Audit officer (AAO) in C & AG. The SSC CGL result 2017 of Tier 2 will be declared based on the marks of Tier 1 and 2. The commission will draw a merit list of candidates on the basis of Tier 1 and 2 marks to call candidates for Tier 3 and 4.

SSC CGL Result 2017 of Tier 3

The result of SSC CGL Tier 3 will be declared in February 2018. The exam of which will be conducted on January 21, 2017. The descriptive test of SSC CGL will be conducted for total 100 marks. Candidates are required to a minimum qualifying marks of 33 % out of 100. Candidates need to qualify the test to be shortlisted for Tier 4 exam.

SSC CGL Result 2017 of Tier 4

The SSC CGL Tier 4 result will be declared in March/April 2018. The Tier 4 exam will be conducted in February 2018. The Tier 4 will be held for the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise & Income Tax), Assistant Section Officer of CSS Assistant Section Officer (MEA) and Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) and Assistant (GSI). This Tier is qualifying in nature.

  • The final result of SSC CGL 2017 will be declared based on the overall performance of candidates in Tier 1, 2 and 3.
  • Candidates need to qualify in all the tiers separately.
  • There will be no sectional cutoff marks.
  • The commission will draw a All India Merit list for each category of post.
  • Candidates who who are found by commission to have qualified the examination shall be recommended for appointment in each category of post.
  • Tier-I examination is used to screen the candidates for appearing in Tier-II examination for various papers.
